It cracks me up that people post thinks like, "I read on the internet (or, "a doctor friend told me") that "x" causes chronic cough, she must have "x",
People write freaking BOOKS about the causes of cough.
WE DON'T KNOW. It may be that nobody knows. "Knowing" is not the issue. Her behavior, and taht of her team, is the issue.
Hillary has been in public life and on the campaign trail (with Bill, Senate, Presidential) trail across decades. It does not happen to her every Labor Day as she has been in public view (with media coverage)for many Labor Days during her adult life.

One doctor on a aYT video suggested Parkinson’s disease. I’m not so convinced. How severe was that blood clot and is she experiencing meds side effects and/or cardiovascular issues as well? She’s not too fit thats for sure.
