Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly passed away on Monday. She was 92.

Schlafly, the founder of Eagle Forum, rose to prominence in the 1960s when she wrote the book A Choice, Not an Echo, which sold more than three million copies. She was a leading voice of opposition against the Equal Rights Amendment, fighting to preserve traditional gender roles.

She wrote a total of 23 books, the most recent being an expanded edition of A Choice, Not an Echo. In March, Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for president.

Schafly was predeceased by her husband, John, and is survived by her six children.

This sometimes happens between denominational callings. C. S. Lewis was familiar with it. It tends to, or ought to, get us to think twice about whether it’s the things that people teach or the things that God teaches that means the most in the end. She didn’t rub “I’m a Catholic” in anybody’s face any more than Billy Graham rubbed “I’m a Baptist” in anybody’s. The Lord moved, and they spoke, in truths that stood larger than denominational differences.

Well done, good and faithful servant. Now enter into the joy of your master.

Phyllis, thank you for being a warrior against the leftist pagans your whole life.

We’ll miss you.

Rest In Peace.

Agreed, and it was a pity she had to fight the just right of Democrat faction in the organization she founded.

Watch the scummy libs come out of the social media woodwork to offer up their snark.

They are being incredibly vicious. They say they're glad she's dead and call her vile names, then finish their hateful, vicious bashing by saying the reason they detest her is because she was "intolerant."

They went after her as if she were an enemy of the state.

RIP to Miss Schlafly. Very brave woman who stood her ground for the principals that are just and right.

If a woman should’ve been president, it was her, not Hillary. Prayers for her family.

Amen this woman did the heavy lifting for so many of us

I sincerely believe Mrs. Schlafly was interceding for this country in Cleveland today. And on the first Feast of St. Mother Teresa.

Always and now forever, she was one of the best.
God bless her sweet soul and hold her dear.

I personally hope someone can manage to cast her earthly vote for TRUMP.
