I have been reading that Laura is helping Trump get ready for the debates.I hope it is true. She has excellent debating skills.
FYI- I was in Portland Oregon for a few days last week. I saw some cars with tiny stickers on them saying “I’m with her”, but not as many as I expected. No Trump signs anywhere that I could see. Lots of young activists on the streets approaching people re climate change and animal rights issues, as well as many homeless people. Quite a visual for that city!

I rather tend to agree with you. Plus, having Trump draped in a shawl by a black bishop isn’t good optics next to a picture of Hillary cackling with Paul McCartney.
Things that I wouldn’t have known had I not watched the presentation of the shawl (news reports I’ve seen haven’t mentioned, or I missed it):
1. The shawl is from Israel
2. The Bishop prayed and fasted over the shawl
3. Don’t recall the exact language but something to the effect of the shawl anoints him by God.
also the bibles presented (signed by the Bishop) - 1 for DJT and 1 for Melania
It’s like watching the Clinton campaign staffers interviewing guests. After Pence, he goes to Bernie for advice on how Hillary can overcome her negatives and the mistrust. But I thought there wasn’t a race, that Hillary was already the winner. Why the need to bring Bernie in for millenials? Then on This Week, rep and dem pollsters claiming there’s no hope for Trump, the rep pollster saying Hillary has a commanding lead in the polls. What the heck are these people talking about? Talk about not being in reality.
If the media was honest they would report the polls are moving in Trump’s direction and his shift in tone and recent events are working. Rather, they pretend there is no movement and minorities still hate him. Only they are the non-racists.

on March 11, an hour before the scheduled start of a Donald Trump rally in Chicago, I checked into the venue’s media pen—a rectangle of metal bike racks corralling the press—and introduced myself to a few of the journalists there. I was talking to Sopan Deb, a CBS News reporter who’s been following the Trump campaign for months, when the first protest erupted in the crowd.
Trump supporters had encircled some guys wearing “Muslims United Against Donald Trump” T-shirts. Deb excused himself, hoisted his video camera onto his shoulder, and sprinted out of the pen for a better angle on the hubbub.
When he returned, he set down his camera and resumed chatting with me as though nothing had happened. A newspaper writer sidled over to join our pleasant conversation. Within a minute or two, another protester was yelling. My new pals swiveled their heads, quickly pinpointed the disturbance, and raced back into the crowd.

My ferals are all a bit neurotic, but have adapted well to the house. They will allow me to touch and play with them. One of them has a very strange hair fetish-will try and chew on mine. They try to get away from my husband as he is a vet. That know they are likely to be poked for blood work, they might have a procedure of some kind, or get some medicine they hate.
I’ve surmised it’s Snerdley/and staff that gather all his critics sound bites to refute criticism of their beloved boss because Rush seems surprised. They’re not worthy of the attention it robs from other key issues. I’m a huge devotee but since his marriage and 25 years of banging your head against the wall, I think his enthusiasm is waning....as evidence by his announcement that he may retire in 4 years.

I think Maria B has a good Sunday show and usually have it on it the background. Greg Jarrett was filling in for her today, which I was disappointed about. I finally had to switch the channel, as I did last night with Melissa Francis filling in for Judge Jeannine.
There were 2 black men on, a Dim strategist and the man that’s the head of the Republican Black Caucus in FL. I thought Jarrett was anti-Trump in his questions and comments and he ticked me off.
Apparently, Murdoch’s directives to the Fox staff has filtered down to more than Megyn, Baier and Wall-ass; or, now that his sons are in charge, perhaps they’re issuing additional directives (or, maybe many of the Fox hosts are Dims and/or anti-Trump anyway).

I recognized how he would be a fighter and eschew political correctness, telling the harsh truths and offering dynamic solutions.

Trump never sits down and projects extraordinary strength and stamina.
I just hope the moderators don’t join forces with her to double team Mr. Trump, hurling accusations and insults.

Good point, I had forgotten that one, which I thought was a comforting comment. I liked the way Trump stood there with the shawl around his shoulders - he stood tall and seemed proud, yet humbled and grateful.
