I heard Micheal Moore was headed to Kansas. Are you sure it was an earthquake?

Check here: USGS Earthquake Map

Says only a 3.1 and 3.2 in Oklahoma.

It might need to be updated. Try again in 1/2 an hour or so.

I’m in Ponca City (Just south of Wichita)...
That was the strongest quake we have ever gone through...
Felt much stronger and longer than the 5 pointer that hit OKC 2-3 years ago.

My earthquake app shows most recent quake as a 3.2 in or VERY near Blackwell.

It must be the fracking. Gotta be.

(Please post articles when the story about fracking comes out as the cause).

I felt it. Much bigger than anything we’ve had before. It felt like the walls were going to come down on me. Scared the heck out of the dogs.

Medford has a rather large salt dome/NG storage facility. Place is a disaster waiting to happen.

The two listed in the map for Oklahoma was from last night about 8:00PM, so it appears the map hasn’t caught up yet.

The 5.6 in California was 3:27 UTC, which was around 10:30 PM CDT. So last night also...

Yup. Bit of shaking here in Leawood for about 30 to 45 seconds.

I thought I moved out of California. ;-)

I’m in SW Oklahoma and haven’t felt too many earthquakes, but this was by far the biggest. Whole house shook for what seemed like 20-30 seconds.
