I thought Fox canceled Hermine’s Head long ago.
We are up to the letter H? Too bad they didn’t pick the name Hillary!
Yeah, looks like the projection is a bit west from the prior track.
For the last couple of days models have consistently been predicting landfall between Apalachicola and Cedar Keys. Current GFS landfall prediction is Apalachicola with ~54 kt winds in Apalaechee Bay.
I am in Tallahassee and am expecting a day or two of rain.
We’re right in the new path . Need the rain but 4-6” at one time? Hmmm
Central NC.
Actually this is the Tropical Storm season we were all warned about. If only Algore had won the election, none of these.... tropical storms would have caused such devastation.
Here. let’s look at it.

I’m looking for a tropical storm, and I don’t see one.
Where is it, I wonder?
On the positive side, it's finally cooling down in FWB (relatively speaking).
I live in Destin and double red at the beach.
Howdy, neighbor!........
Yes!.......
If Fudpuckers gets blown down can you guys scrounge me a t-shirt and a baby alligator?
I love it when men presume to predict what’s going to happen.
They’re ALWAYS wrong.
It’s like God is up there with His sense of humor saying, *Oh, so you’re so sure, eh? We’ll see about that.*
Tee shirts maybe, but once a gator is freed you ain’t gonna catch it again!..............
Hurricane Elena did a figure eight in the gulf in 1985!..........
Just got back from Destin on our motorcycles! Waves were about three feet...........
It’s a little difficult for me to understand. I’m looking at the Accuweather satellite loop right now and all of the weather is directly over the peninsula. There’s NOTHING in the Gulf.
The east side of a tropical storm or hurricane is where most of the rain is........
As winds full of moisture pass over the cooler land mass, they dump their load of rain and continue on to the west side as dry winds but still forceful. They pick up moisture as they pass over the warm gulf waters then head back to land and dump it again..........
