We need more of these FReeper-on-the-scene news reports. FR has been a fantastic news forum, but it doesn’t originate the stories; it just publishes material from other sources. Think how influential it could be if we brought the FR sensibility to actually GATHERING the news.

That will probably happen regardless, but I strongly agree that we all need to start gathering news ourselves and stop depending on biased incompetent “journalists”.
