That will probably happen regardless, but I strongly agree that we all need to start gathering news ourselves and stop depending on biased incompetent “journalists”.
With a lot of FReepers retired and active, we could probably establish “bureaus” in every state and many of the larger cities. They could report to a central editor and their coverage could be published here on FR or on a separate Free Republic News forum.
Certain journalistic rules would have to be observed regarding multi-source verification, objectivity, and formatting standards.
But this is doable, folks.
