George W. Bush's Iraq war architect says he will likely vote for Clinton

Paul Wolfowitz, a top official in the George W. Bush administration referred to as the architect of the Iraq war, said he will likely vote for Hillary Clinton in November.

Wolfowitz is part of a growing list of GOP national security and foreign policy officials who have announced their intention to support the Democratic presidential nominee. But though Clinton has proudly announced the backing of other Republicans, it’s less likely she will roll out a news release touting the support from Wolfowitz.

As deputy secretary of Defense under Bush, Wolfowitz was among the earliest and biggest cheerleaders for invading Iraq and deposing Saddam Hussein. Clinton, as a senator representing New York, voted in 2002 to go to war in Iraq.

A very back-handed endorsement.

Dick Cheney Hates Trump, Endorses Him Anyway
Former Vice President Dick Cheney may hate Donald Trump, but he’s fine with him leading the country.

Cool. Now if we can just be assured that Mitt Romney’s Romneycare ‘go to guy’, Jonathan Gruber will vote Hillary, and McCain’s amnesty partner Feingold, along with GHWB’s tax plan advisor, and Christie Todd Whitman’s global warming ‘expert’, and Jeb’s education czar...etc etc....we’d be getting somewhere.

Of course they didn't bother him. Hillary Clinton's U.S. State Department was effectively running a "shadow government" that orchestrated foreign intelligence and military operations like the one that went sour in Benghazi.

That kind of operation makes her a first-rate presidential candidate to a globalist like Paul Wolfowitz.

You would have to be insane to think hillary is a better choice than Trump.
Unless you are a GOPe, RINO, Sell out, or a self serving politician... or all of the above.

Cheney told Fox News’ Bret Baier that the real estate mogul’s assertions regarding the September 11 attacks—including that George W. Bush willingly let them happen—were “way off base.”

I don't think that is what Trump said

If I remember correctly he said 911 happened on Bush's watch so he was to blame for lack of security

this is because the bush family is tied to the Clinton family both are corrupt and I am betting that if an investigation is ever done of bush senior you will find that he and bush junior were taking bribes.....I am sick of the entire lot and I will be voting for trump hoping that he is not as corrupt as most of the other politicians. after this election if trump loses or if trump gets in and does nothing. I become a radicalized constitutionalists. I will never be voting party ticket again. the only thing that will be important to me is the guy honest. that might lead me to vote for some who don't share my ideology but how can you trust someone that's been bought off even if they espouse conservative principals.

“How many of Bernie Sanders’ supporters are going to vote for Hillary Clinton once it becomes obvious to them that she is running to be president during the third and fourth terms of George W. Bush?”

Probably a whole lot, but informing them that they’d be voting for more Bush policies certainly would take all the fun out of it for them.

Sort of strange to see the left tout this guy, and the others on the list from a week or so ago (CIA Chief Hayden, Tom Ridge, Negroponte, et al). A few years ago, these guys were likened to Hitler's henchmen as war criminals.

How many years have they ridiculed Bush for taking us down the Iraq War rabbit hole, and all of a sudden, these guys hate Trump and now they are brilliant national security experts.

Truly weird.
