Leni, I also like the picture and your very nice words. It is the picture of a man who had lived a rich and productive life, who was still out and about with a smile on his face. Many young people might be saddened by the picture, but that’s their problem, and it’s a common one. I think the photo is really quite wonderful. Our countenance is all some might see of us.
The only way we might impact their lives.

It will either be for good or bad.

I read a poster in a teachers room.

Everybody brings joy into a room.
Some when they enter.
Others when they leave.

Gene has left this big room...and he's taken some of that joy with him.
