TWA 800: My Improbable Lunch with the Chairman of the NTSB
American Thinker ^ | August 29, 2016 | Jack Cashill

If you had told me on the morning of July 7 that I would have lunch on July 8 with the chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, I would have likely countered with tales of flying pigs or Hamlet-writing monkeys.

I knew the odds. In 2013-14, the TWA 800 Project Team made a systematic attempt to get the NTSB to reopen the investigation into the 1996 crash of TWA Flight 800. The Project Team included high-level whistleblowers, family members of the victims, and eyewitnesses. Collectively, team members had a whole lot more juice than I did, but for all their good efforts, they never got past the NTSB's designated flak catchers.

So color me thunderstruck to find myself dining at Harry's Smokehouse Burgers & BBQ in the Pentagon Mall with former board member Vernon Grose and current chairman of the five-member board Chris Hart.

Grose made this all happen. A day earlier, he had attended a press conference on TWA Flight 800 held at the National Press Club and sponsored by Accuracy in Media (AIM). Although Grose was not scheduled to speak, AIM's Roger Aronoff invited him to the podium, and he held forth for about ten minutes.

Don’t waste your time on this article. No talk about evidence of a missile hit. Just blab blab about the good guys and the bad guys.

I “wasted my time” on it and thought it to be quite interesting. To me it highlights some of the corruption that has been going on for the last 20+ years. I know Cashill has been working on this a long time. I applaud him for that.

With respect, I agree that there’s no “smoking gun” showing a terrorist attack on TWA 800, I think it is an important article as it shows yet another instance of the betrayal of trust and absolute malfeasance connected to the Clintons. It further demonstrates that these people are selfish trash, only motivated by power and its retention and that this has been their modus operandi for too many years.

While I agree that TWA 800, was probably taken down by a missile, like her email scandal, her husband’s infidelities, and who knows what other tomfoolery, because it’s connected to the Clintons, we’ll never hear about it, likely because no one wants to die suddenly and mysteriously.

When the subject of TWA 800 emerges, the networks still turn to people like Goelz and Hall. They have become the public face of the NTSB, which is one reason why the board has lost almost all credibility with the aviation community.

****************************************

Just as Comey is now the public face of the FBI that has lost almost all credibility with the American public.

The trend is not America’s friend.

I thought the documentary on TWA-800 was pretty persuasive that the plane was downed by a surface-to-air (missile trail and explosion outside aircraft). Someone was moving the gathered evidence around and pushing competent investigators out.

Recently read Jack Cashill’s book TWA 800 the
Crash, the Cover-up and the Conspiracy. Never believed the center fuel tank explosion BS ... it was definitely taken down by a missile. Way too many credible witnesses described the ascending contrail, likening it to a reverse of the Nike swoosh ... and the subsequent explosion. The only question, was it a errant US Navy missile or one launched by terrorists from a boat? Cashill is inclined to believe it was a missile launched by the US Navy ... regardless, it was a missile that brought down TWA 800.

Without reading the article, which apparently does not hit on heavy issues, I posit that a great injustice was perpetrated by our government with their massive cover up of the event.

They acted and continue to act as if they have something to hide.

I’m with Cashill. TWA800 was taken down by an errant US Navy missile. The Navy made a “mistake.”

Eventually this will come out.

Hi.

Don’t read anything into this post. I’ll just say that I would believe certain FReepers before I would believe for example, Josh Ernest.

Too many years, too many examples, and too many proofs.

Just sayin.

I have always thought the tortured official explanation of the TWA 800 crash was not credible especially since no similar incident of electrical shorts causing a fuel tank explosion or fire on other 747s was ever reported. A missile is for me the mostly likely cause. I doubt it was a missile fired accidentally by the US Navy ..too many people involved to keep it secret. A terrorist attack is more likely

I would agree that if some idiot accidentally fired a missile off a Navy jet....you can figure at least ten people noting the absence of a missile upon landing...questions arising...and at least a hundred people knowing something is screwed up within six hours on the post. You would not be able to keep this a secret.

So I’m of the opinion that it had to come from some vessel parked in the bay area. The problem though....once the White House realizes that there are possibilities of dozens or hundreds of these missile launchers out there....how do you take on this threat? Overnight, half the population would refuse to fly anymore because they think there missile launchers out there.
