Here's a question for you. When a minority pulls a stunt like this, how do they think it will positively impress the majority of patriotic Americans? Do I think more of Kaepernick for his "courageous stand"? Like hell I do. I hope he get bulldozed on his first play from scrimmage by the entire opposing defensive line. It's just another way to split the country. I hope the Niners go 0-16 this year.

I wonder if Trump or Hillary mention anything about this. If no, you can guarantee the issue will be brought up as a debate question.

That's the line that should have been the money shot in this article

The 4tH8rs may want to release him now. Their stands are already half full.

And black people could prosper well in a white country by understanding how whites (Christianized people) think and cooperating with that. They are demanding a world that can’t exist. What happens when that gets its head, is seen in places like Detroit.

When a modern immigrant comes here from Africa, he or she is not wailing about historical oppression or about how whitey hates him or her. He or she generally hustles, and prospers big time.

“Historical oppression” can become an excuse for actionless paralysis.

don’t forget that the opposing DL are all minorities as well, and probably agree with him...meanwhile, it’s much more important that Tom Brady get punished for his stance on ball inflation....

I thought this read like a Bob Lonsberry article and was glad to see his name on it. Spot on.

My take: We should all feel so baaaaad for Mr. Kaepernick. This country has been so terrible for him. He never got to attend college. He was precluded from earning wealth and fame. He is just continually oppressed for reasons outside of his control (like on-field performance, actions, and comments). No doubt the poor young man is fighting off klansman each and every day...

This whinny turd can take his opinion and feelings and shove them where the sun doesn't shine...

Real Football players don't use their ‘meal ticket’ for a forum to express how dissatisfied they are, they don't get another chance...the 49ers might not be able to get rid of him this year, but next year they can, and if I were the head coach of this team, he wouldn't be dressed in a 49ers uniform the rest of the year, he would park his ‘rotten butt’ on a fold up chair by the water boy and that is where he would stay for the whole year...

Not long

can anyone verify: a co-worker said that Colin Kaperenick (sp?) has been doing this “no standing during the National Anthem” stunt for a long time....is that true?

The problem isn’t that Kaepernick is “progressive” ... the problem is that he converted to Islam this summer and is marrying a Muslim Black Lives Matter Activist. Something else Kaepernick & Obama have in common besides white mothers/black fathers ... they’re Muslim and their “religion” is antithetical to the principles on which this country was founded. Mr. Kaepernick has been “radicalized” by his Muslim BLM fiance. Obama was radicalized by the scumbags who raised him and the company they/he kept.

My opinion is that the vast majority of minorities want and enjoy the separation of the races.
They have a built in escape in anything that they do, its the I’m a minority and you hate me for it.
The worst thing that can happen is for everyone to be treated as an equal, because most of them know that they would fail spectacularly.
The separation and divisiveness gives them status and a position in society that they would not otherwise have.

This is nothing more than a publicity stunt by a former star that had his woeful lack of ability unmasked when the team that was supporting him and making him look better than he was imploded around him.

Now Kaepernick has gone from the height of stardom to the realization his NFL career is basically over. He will not be the 49ers starting QB and his release due to lack of performance is a foregone conclusion.

So, he came up with this stunt to 1. get his name in the news and on Sportscenter, 2. paint the 49ers into a "racist" corner if they release him (thus hopefully prolonging the time to that inevitable release), and 3. if he is released it is because of RACISM and he can fool himself into thinking someone else will sign him and SUE the entire NFL for "blackballing" him when nobody does step forward to sign him.

So do I.

I also hope they put him on the field a lot. Behind their 2nd string line...

He is a has been/one trick pony NFL QB.

So like the Clintons, he uses the phoney charges of racism to cover his being a loser.

Later, he hopes to become another Ali, getting big money telling liberal audiences how his brave stand against racism cost him his NFL career.

It will not work for him. At least Ali was a world champion and not a low talent wanna be like this pos.
