You can't judge a whole country by its soccer hooligans.

This idea of a soccer team identified as "Jewish" and denounced in anti-Semitic terms happens in Holland, and even in Britain.

Interesting theory.

Hitler was scared of Poles because according to the racial theories, a lot of Poles and Ethnic Germans had mixed over the centuries. So Poles were deemed more of a threat than the other Slavs because of the fact they had some German blood, that gave them warrior qualities. So unlike the other Slavs, whom the Germans targeted to work as slaves, he actually targeted the Polish race for physical extermination, over a period of about 30 years through various means.

Consider why the Nazis never allowed Poles to work as Camp Guards, even if they were anti-semitic. They knew if they ever handed a rifle to a Pole, the first thing they’d do is shoot the Nazi with it.

Case in point, Poland's neighbors to the south, The Slovaks. Almost identical in every way, Hitler's treatment of the Slovaks was fairly benign, even allowing them a "puppet" State during the war, run by a Catholic Priest. And Slovaks were more than happy to get rid of their Jews.

Poland had over a century of conflict with Germany that made it unlikely that Poles and Germans would ally.

Poland also had a strong orientation towards Britain and France that other countries and peoples in the region didn't share.
