A man has been arrested in the stabbing deaths of two nuns whose bodies were found in their home in rural Mississippi, authorities said.
Margaret Held and Paula Merrill, both nurse practitioners, failed to show up for work Thursday at a clinic in Lexington, where they served one of the states poorest counties.
Authorities believe the killer took the victims car, a blue Toyota Corolla, which was later found on an abandoned road less than a mile from their home. But nothing was taken from the house, according to a law enforcement official who has been briefed on the investigation.

Obama release?
How much hatred must you have in your heart to murder two old nuns?
I hope there will be a very special place in hell for this A-hole.

Richard Speck, who murdered eight student nurses, one at a time, in their townhouse. Speck was armed only with a knife. None of his victims was armed. Specks crime should make every liberal gun-grabber think, then vomit. Don’t forget the Manson murders either.
Ashley Nichole Nikki Read (8yrs old, 67 lbs) March 16, 1990
http://murderpedia.org/male.K/k/keen-david.htm
Nikki was beaten, RAPED, strangled with her own shoelaces, wrapped in a green blanket, which was then tied, by David Keen, he dumped her body into the river off the old Auction Street Boat Dock in Memphis, TN. She drowned to death. Nikki was alive as Keen RAPED her. DNA proved he did and he eventually confessed to the crime. 2 juries, up held the Death Sentence. All State and Federals Appeals are done. Yet he still sits on Tennessee Death Row because Tennessees RINO governor wont sign the Death Warrant for this Child Rapist/Killer.
Its 2016 Nikkis mother is still waiting for JUSTICE!

Murder in Memphis, Deborah Groseclose

Let them into the house, while he slipped out with the kids. She was Raped, stabbed, neatened, strangled until she passed out. Stuffed into the trunk of her car, which was then relocated down town, where she is still alive, she COOKED TO DEATH in the 100 + summer temps of Memphis. A anti-death penalty federal judge and 2 state supreme court judges kept blocking the use of the DP. They finally were retried, found guilty again, and given Life WITH parole. There is 1 sick sister Rebeca Easley left to fight the parole hearings.

2 of her killers still live and have parole hearings.

I have a little different take.
Prison ("jail") takes bad people and makes them worse. It makes some of them a lot worse. And for sociopaths? It's a freaking tuition free UNIVERSITY.
I favor abolishing prisons.
Anybody who hurts another person (stabs, shoots, bludgeons, etc) in the commission of a felony (or as a solo felony) should be killed. We don't know how to fix what's wrong with them. They are a constant danger to guards and other inmates. And they will, as you say, do it again. So, kill 'em the first time.
Property crime without injury to persons should be dealt with by physical punishment (lashing, stocks, branding, etc) with capital punishment for re-offenders.
Paper crime ("white collar crime") should be dealt with by restitution where possible, including confiscation of assets.
In pipe-dream mode, I do support “early termination programs” for most felons, and corporal punishment for lesser offenders. I’d keep the prisons around for several cycles of refill, flush, and repeat. Fairly soon there would be so little crime that resources could be saved or redeployed into something positive. White collar criminals should receive corporal punishment, in addition to fines and confiscations — they need to have some skin in the game. Politicians get double helpings.
I’ll expect this to happen soon after I win Mega Millions 5 times in a row.
My father's sister was a nun, Sister Mary Stephen. She wore a habit when we were kids (back in the 40s). We called her "Aunt Stevie".
That is the way it was. I was born in 1950. They were (are?) different in those days. I have had at minimum 15 different orders of nuns. I think my favorites were the Sisters of Johanna, very sweet. The Sisters of Immaculate Heart, I believe, were all college educated. I could be incorrect on that order.
I went to Matre Dei in Southern California, a big football school. That school had all orders of nuns. The ones with the most clownish headgear were from Spain. They were really nice, though.
We had Priests, Fathers. No Jesuits, Brothers.
This is a test because I am a luddite!
I try to avoid it, but there are times when I think I’m a bit of one.
I do think that there are extremes in almost every part of life. It doesn’t seem unreasoned to think we could go overboard replacing humans who need gainful employment.
Does it make sense to create things through automation to the point that the very people we need to buy them are homeless and have no income?
There has to be some balance.
