This is completely untrue. Psychiatrists have made many breakthroughs in mental illness - just read Patty Duke’s autobiography in which her manic-depression was dealt with by her doctors. So many people have been helped by good therapists and medical doctors (psychiatrists) with medication and without.
I know so many survivors of 9/11 who were helped to get rest and care after their experiences.
I don’t know any muslim shrinks except that lunatic at Ford Hood - but I’m sure they’re out there. The Fort Hood jihadi was aided and abetted by the armed forces and should never have been allowed to practice much less be on that base.
One should be careful to stay clear of muslim names when looking for medical services.
