Freepers, we should not allow ourselves to be labeled w/ this recently coined phrase-its a trap!
We are Americans. Period.
The msm slimes will use this label to try and tie us to the most vile and despicable elements out there.
Reject it immediately.
All of the “wins” you list have changed nothing. They’ve either been inconsequential, or reversed by the “Establishment.”
Democrats are the “Alt-Delete” Party...
Imagine where we would be w/o the TP congresscritters and senators providing backbone to the GOPe squishes, in far worse shape I assure you.
The TP gave the GOP control of congress, what happened when the dhimmis controlled congress?
You have to accept reality as it is, not as you wish it were; and be careful what you wish for.
Yankee Doodle
From Wikipedia -
Traditions place its origin in a pre-Revolutionary War song originally sung by British military officers to mock the disheveled, disorganized colonial “Yankees” with whom they served in the French and Indian War, apparently written c. 1755 by British Army surgeon Dr. Richard Schuckburgh while campaigning in upper New York.[13] The British troops sang it to make fun of their stereotype of the American soldier as a Yankee simpleton who thought that he was stylish if he simply stuck a feather in his cap.[1]
Americans took this song of derision; mocked the British and wore it as a badge of honor.
Can you sing a few bars of alt-right for me?
I wish you well then.
Suffice to say, I am not satisfied by your standard for “success.”
FWIW . . . my observations on the “Alt-Right” movement.
Contrary to what some on FR have posted here the last few days, the term and concept DID exist prior to this week. I’ve been aware of it for at least a year.
I was first exposed to it through some online videos regarding Gamergate. Among other things, Gamergate was a reaction to perceived social engineering in video games. There was some talk of a deliberate plan to inject Social Justice Warrior propaganda (militant feminism and political correctness) into video games to indoctrinate game players. Some of the gamers rebelled against this, which spilled over into other areas online. I’m sure there’s much more to the movement (and Gamergate) than that, but that was my introduction to the Alt-Right.
I’ve already seen that video; it’s Hillarious!
I just don't want to be pigeon-holed w/ a label and I don't think its healthy.
If the alt-righters can give Slithery a hard time then good on them.
The alt-right arose from #Gamergate back 2014. It is young, tech-savy and very involved in social media.
They believe conservatism has failed and they have been betrayed by the Republican Party.
This video is indicative of how the alt-right is carrying the fight to the enemy.
The Radix Journal, Taki Magazine and alternativeright.com have been around for several years. The far left SPLC noticed even if no one in the MSM noticed until the last year or two.
I think we can all agree on that. And I've seen the young man's video before, he's quite good and funny.
+1
First place I saw it was about a week ago at the #nevertrump pro hillary site the breifingroom.com. The site with Ronald Reagan in its header. Pffft.
God knows, it's about time somebody on the right took over for those who don't understand the only way to NOT LOSE is to WIN!
Alt-right is a deliberate slur.
Their definition of “alt-right” is really 75% of Republican voters. The actual fringe nutters are the GOPe.
James Kirchick put it in his article in Commentary and it took off from there.
Apparently, he got the idea from an article on Breitbart.com.
At Breitbart, Allum Bokhari and Milo Yiannopoulos yoke together a lot of fringe cranks and sell them as some hot new alt right movement.
At Commentary, Kirchick builds up this supposed alt right movement into the big ugly monster looming over the horizon.
It's funny how people who hate and oppose each other actually end up as each others' best fans.
Neo-Kirchick's gone and endorsed Hillary Clinton. He's also gotten into trouble with the left, by saying that Clinton's liberal and leftist critics have already supported Trump, which they haven't.
Sometimes it might seem like somebody who manages to antagonize both sides must be doing something right, but if both sides call somebody an opportunistic hitman they just might be right.
Here’s an article on the alt right from 2009.

I reject your rejection. I do not accept your negative definition my alt-right/Galt-Right label as something negative.
