WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll released Thursday shows Republican Donald Trump pulling into a slight lead over Hillary Clinton for the first time in nearly a month.
The online poll shows Trump with 48.29 percent to Clinton's 47.59. The two have been in a virtual tie in the poll for several days, though Thursday's data is the first to show Trump in the lead.

I know polls shouldn’t matter to us now, but if we do look at one, what is the board consensus on a realistic and reliable one? yes, i’m serious :)

The trend is ‘telling’. Further, Hillary’s left and the media have spent themselves with the post-convention onslaught of anti-Trump messages. He weathered it very well, and they can’t use it again. They are in big, big trouble.
For example, polls in 1980 at this time showed Jimmy Carter ahead of Ronald Reagan. Who knows if that was actually true? By the November election, the polls had Reagan ahead so that the pollsters can claim that they got it right. But how do we know that they were not just trying to sway public opinion during that summer?
I would say that we would have to wait until late October before we start seeing accurate polls, as reputations would then be on the line and pollsters would be obliged to get it right.

Most important is to look at Party ID. Gallup has a state by state standard, and you can compare a state poll to that. Push poll organizations like Marist and Monmouth should be embarrassed, but they are trying to create an image of the world as they’d like to see it, and some of those people there are delusional. AT some point I will post a chart I am building, hopefully it won’t be too much in the weeds, but it shows my point
Oh is going to be ever. She will try and outwonk him. He will try and punch back with comments about her honesty and trustworthiness. While this does not trouble me terribly, I heard an interview with Trump and Judge Piro on Fox, and he says he really doesn't prepare or get coached up before a debate. In this case that's a mistake. That's taking your opponent lightly. We know her talking points and like Reagan he needs a folksy, snarky retort to show her as the manipulative, corrupt,twit she is. Press her. As far as I'm concerned this demon should be provoked into a full on seizure on camera. People will die because this witch maybe sitting behind the Resolute desk. I want her to implode, have a breakdown, and just go away from political life.

But currently I think they’re purposely pulling Trump ahead because to not do so will simply show they’re denying fully how well he’s doing.....there’s way too much “evidence” Trump’s been leading for awhile....
