it was that the media is lazy at best, and a lying, scheming, devious, malicious, anything-for-a-story pack of coyotes.

With apologies to actual coyotes. And I can shoot coyotes when they cause trouble. Journalists? Not so much.

There's nothing new about Big Media being a bunch of leftist liars. Walter Duranty? Walter Cronkite? Dan Rather? Shameless leftist liars of the very worst sort, and they're just the ones with familiar names.

The real story, here, is that out of all of Big Media ONE paper, the much derided USA Today, sent reporters out to report. It sent journalists out to do journalism. In doing so, they proved conclusively that the rest of Big Media are a bunch of agenda driven, narrative chasing lying sons-of-bitches.

It's a wonderful and rare thing to see these vile scumbags so thoroughly exposed.

I will not argue that depending on big media to ‘get to the bottom’ of it with journalism is like asking a felon to explain the injustice of him getting caught in the act. For starters, depending big media ‘journalists’ to get to the bottom of a story when actual journalism is the last tool in their non-existent bag of capability is a wild stretch.

Imagine. A “sports journalist” on site in Rio does a belated exhaustive tortuous investigative feat reaching all aspects and witnesses to this story and pops up with his ‘story’ of truth. Never mind witnesses aren’t identified, never mind both sides of the story are present. Only the protective narrative of the pre-adjudicated story.
