Black Republicans generally praise Donald Trump's newfound outreach for African-American votes that typically go to a Democratic presidential nominee.
But they say Trump shouldn't just make the appeal at his rallies, which have nearly all-white audiences and often are held in majority white communities. Instead, they say Trump must go to the inner cities he's started mentioning in his campaign speeches.
Meanwhile, many other black voters say the New York billionaire's outreach is misguided or even offensive, and they say they still plan to back Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Yes, but in black OWNED areas, not black OCCUPIED areas. Because he'll be talkin' jobs, you see, and in some of the black occupied areas they don't want 'em. The folks with an ownership interest in their own communities will be more open to the message.
The “black outreach” is definitely a potential gain for Republicans because it has never been so clear that the Dems have utterly failed them. If the Republicans can pick up black votes without compromising their principles (just because of the horrors inflicted on blacks by Dems for 100+ years), they should do it.
As for whites, once affirmative action was ruled legal/constitutional it was all over. As long as they are a fractured bunch along gender, class, sexuality, and generational lines they have no voice. The female, poor, deviant, or elderly whites that have historically supported Dems are now watching the country evolve into one where white males no longer create jobs or white babies...

Even if that were true, and not saying it isn't, I think it still would be a net gain for Trump to show up and deliver a speech detailing to the extent possible what he proposes to help black Americans. They likely wouldn't like the fact that he didn't out-promise the Dems when it come to freebies.

After Sanders had the mic taken away from him at Sanders’ own even, Trump announced that no one would ever do that to him. Consequently if Trump were to go to a 100% black liberal venue, precisely that would happen. You make your point but I don’t think they would storm the stage at an NAACP event. Just showing up would benefit Trump. How much benefit hard to say. He would have to follow up by addressing blacks in more places.
