And Free Republic shows that any poll that does not "toe the line" is quickly removed.
In truth, Trump is ahead.
But let's allow the Democrats to continue believing that they are winning. That will instill their complacency and make the November shock bigger and harder for them to bear.
Same here. Except family whom I know are all Trump supporters and FR, I keep it to myself.
I am in a unionized state, our unions wield much power over it’s members. I don’t know many union members who would answer anything on the phone or in any survey where they could be identified, stating they are voting for Trump. A cop, teacher, fireman (to a lesser extent us tradesmen) could potentially cripple our careers.
And yes, the unions do call around and take surveys and push polls, and no one thinks for a second that they wouldn’t be so inclined to disguise themselves as a “generic pollster” or whatever.
Plus, after the IRS targeting conservatives, I reckon many conservatives are just not going to be so forthcoming with that information. No one wants to be placed on a “no fly zone” or “terrorist watch list” which could red-flag you on a gun purchase or in travel because of how they answered a survey.
Also, many of us who have been around the block a few times, know that most phone polling is push polling, paid for by candidates, with no interest in your opinion, but rather intended to formulate your opinion.

I am in PA and I sure hope you are right. Whenever we drive my family plays a game. We count Trump and Hillary signs in people’s yards. We usually get 4 or 5 Trump signs. We have yet to see one Hilary sign in a yard in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh.

I’m curious as to why a pollster would trust online polling.
The ones I’ve participated in, you can vote like dead democrats.

One way, they ask if you’re a democrat, republican, independent. When they get to the percentage of what they’re looking for, they tell you they have enough of your chosen group.
The independents make it rough for dems to cheat, because they’re undeclared, which makes it difficult to figure out how much cheating they need without making it too much.
Although nowadays, I don’t think they care if they’re
caught. They’ll just holler disenfranchisement and we’ll sit back and take it.

I just came back from Long Beach Island in NJ to drop yard sale things off at church. I was quite surprised at the huge Trump flag in our church neighbor’s front yard. He is from PA and summers on the island. I see the occasional Trump sign around the shore, but no Hillary ones— even tho most people I know here hate Trump. Really surprised at the big flag. I am sure it must irritate our pastor every time he pulls into the parking lot and sees it-— as well as a number of the members-— that thought makes me feel better.

We re NOT “undercover”, but STEALTH Trump voters!!!! (For example, educated professionals living in blue states like me.)
And we’re NOT “closet” anything! We discuss voting for Trump with trusted friends, but stay AWAY from telephone pollsters!!!! When I ‘m in my Serbian parish next Sunday, we shall all be open Trumplicans together!!!!
