There is Now No Doubt Now: The Media Are Biased, and Obama Doesn't Care About Black People

Editor's Note: This column was originally published under the wrong byline. We apologize for the error.

If you had any doubt about it, there should be no doubt in your mind now.

The Mainstream media is biased. The Big Three, like a soft and fluffy version of the Soviet Pravda, have propped up their little Barack Obama and his shrewish successor Hillary “Hexes, Lies, and Emails on Tape” Clinton.

The latest, most vicious example of this distortion? President Obama’s tepid, non-existence response to the floods sweeping Louisiana. 31 inches of rain fell in 15 hours, and that was a tally from one week ago!

No, this is not a hurricane, nor is it climate change (sit down, Bill Nye the Humanist Guy). This is Mother Nature running her ragged course.

Are these floods really that bad, though?

CNN, the Clinton News Network, could not spin the downward spiral of this disaster, “Louisiana flood: Worst US disaster since Hurricane Sandy, Red Cross says”:

“Thousands of people in Louisiana have lost everything they own and need our help now.”

Devastation.

13 people have died, and 7,000 more have fled to shelters.

No Obama until – Tuesday.

Where was the President? How about his entourage?

Donald Trump, the despised anti-Establishment Republican candidate, showed up to help. Where’s Jeb? How about Lindsey Graham? What about Romney?

How about Hillary Clinton? Fundraising. How about Jill Stein or Gary Johnson? Too busy trying to reach 15% in the polls for debates that they will never participate in.

But again – Where is President Obama?

The media aren’t asking, and don’t care!

What a storm of a difference from eleven years ago.

I remember watching night after night as the marginalized media smeared George W. Bush for his not-so immediate response to the destruction waged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Maybe the media were giving Bush the full flush. After all, he won re-election with more votes and more states that in 2000—popular as well as electoral. He won over 44% of Hispanics, not by hispandering, but by demonstrating a clear resolve to defend our nation’s borders from international threats.

Yes, I know that Bush was excoriated like no one else for his reckless spending, for undermining the wonders of a solid Republican majority in the Congress.

But at least he kept us safe.

Last year, the ten year anniversary of the Katrina catastrophe, the Times was still slamming Bush and his executive staff for their terrible job. Check the listings here if you do not believe me.

In 2005, the media headlines were relentless against Bush:

Waiting for a Leader

When will we see this headline about Obama?

The New York Times even smeared W.’s mother Barbara Bush:

Barbara Bush Calls Evacuees Better Off

Meaning “Better off as evacuees, without homes”?

What did she say?

What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality."

"And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway," she said, "so this is working very well for them."

They were better off in Texas, of course, away from the destruction in Louisiana!

What has the New York Times reported about Obama?

Delicate Mix of Compassion and Politics as Obama Visits Louisiana Flood Victims

How about “Deliberate Attempt to Seem Compassionate, Playing Politics”?

He was still on vacation! He was still playing golf!

And the Washington Post? How did they respond to Obama’s aloof arrogance?”

[I]t speaks to Obama's unique and long-lasting commitment to not playing by a core rule of modern politics: making at least some decisions based on "how it looks" and/or "how it will play."

No, it merely shows what an arrogant, selfish ass Obama is, with neither principle nor compassion for the sufferings of others. We have seen this sickening sitcom before. The Middle East is overrun with terrorists because of his “Don’t Do Stupid Stuff” foreign policy. “Let’s hit the Links”! Ferguson, Baltimore, Milwaukee go up in flames. “Fore!” Venezuela has bread lines, Greece is going broke, Puerto Rico defaults on its debt: “Hole in One!”

Barack Obama, the Golfer in chief.

Yes, George W. Bush did a fly-over the Louisiana devastation in 2005. He later got down and visited with the ravaged communities. Let’s not forget that Bush called terror what it is, and stood with a destroyed Manhattan community overwhelmed by the 9-11 jihad.

Of course, none of that would be enough for a bitter media and Hollywood elite.

Who can forget the inimitably obtuse Kanye West, a gold digger if there ever was one, declaring on national television: “President Bush doesn’t care about black people.”

Fast forward 11 years, and the reading public is still asking: “Does President Obama care about black people?”

Former State Senator Elbert Guillory denounced the President’s absence.

Breitbart News reports(the only news source that bothered to ask):

It’s difficult to understand why he could not break from his vacation and his golfing and come to Louisiana.”

Guillory refused to stop there:

Under [Obama’s] administration he bailed out the banks, he bailed out Wall Street, but Black unemployment is the highest it has been since the Great Depression,” he said.

“More than 60 per cent of our students, sometimes as many as 90 in urban areas, cannot read and write at grade level.”

If President Obama has done right by the black community, why would a Marxist thugocracy like Black Likes Matter have to erupt on the streets of Ferguson, Washington DC, and Los Angeles?

How can we explain the riots of Baltimore, where every authority and featured figure was black, a Democrat, or both? If President Obama has done a good job for black folks, why?

It’s because he hasn’t.

After eight years, it’s clear that President Obama does not care about black people. He cares about transforming this country. He wants to destroy political opposition with Alinsky-ite flair.

Let’s state what the media won’t: President Obama doesn’t care about black people.

But let’s not be so biased. He doesn’t care about anyone at all

Barack Obama has a white parent and a black parent. His life story has been a picture of a muddled, manipulative mind at work.

He's only been black when it suited his needs in college admissions, public office, etc.

Once he retires from public office I predict you'll rarely ever see him around black people. He sure doesn't play golf or vacation at Martha's Vineyard to hang out with the "brothers," for sure.

As usual, good write up.
One note though, Fox did call Obama out for not showing up, Brietbart wasn’t alone.

Bush viewed Katrina from a helicopter...OK can you think of a better way to get a good look at such a disaster? Compare pictures from the f=ground and those from the air. (not a swipe at you)

The media bashed Bush for looking at Katrina from a flyover, but that’s actually the best way to get a good view of it. He did show up on the ground a couple of days later, and I think he should have done it the same day, but the press basically ignored it and still bashed him for showing up after 3 days. Obama took over a week. Where is their outrage?

Then, when Obama was running for president, he bashed Bush for taking 3 days to go to see the Katrina disaster, now he ignores Louisiana and plays golf. And the La governor tried to cover for him. At least he did have positive comments about Trump’s visit.

Obama only went to Baton Rouge because Trump shamed him into it. Where’s Obama’s truck full of supplies? If it existed the media would have plastered it all over the 5 o’clock news. Nope, Obama only wants to give them more money the taxpayers have to add to their already huge bill.

I don’t think Hillary will show up at all, or either of the other two who really should just go home, they don’t have a chance. That sucks, I’d like to see a 3rd party gain some traction. But now is not the time.

We knew Obama didn’t care about black people long ago. I saw two guys in Pennsylvania a while back complaining about the unemployment rate. With good reason. Or maybe it was Detriot...I forget...black unemployment is twice the rate of white unemployment almost everywhere. I read a report that said in Baltimore and Ferguson it’s over 30%. It’s gotten worse, not better, with Obama holding the reins. I noticed he managed to find more black flood victims in Baton Rouge than white ones, pandering again. And of course he looked up the family of the thug killed there not long ago by police. Can’t pass up a good political photo op...

Can you tell I have nothing but disgust for this lying bastard? If not I can keep going...

... and Obama Doesn't Care About Black People

nobama cares about nobody but himself. I even question his caring for his family.

The article has plenty of info proving nobama doesn't care about black people.

Excellent article Kaslin. Thanks for posting all of it.

This issue, caring about black people, has some wings. I wish it a good and productive flight.

I think we have the usual dem lefty bias in the press right now super fueled by their singular hatred for all things Trump. Too late for them to come back, they bet it all on what they thought was a sure thing with Hitlery and are now ruing that decision which was also strongly pushed by the owners of these organs of misinformation.

When some of the truly independent news media begin to break away, and it is starting to happen because they have to do it or be run over, that will force them to move a bit to the Trump side. The polls will have to drag them first but when it happens it will be fun to watch IMO. The last hold outs with be the three major networks, the NY Dimes, and the Washbag. The last two are never coming around.

One thing I think may help it Trump pointing out how dishonest the press is. He has been blowing up both political parties and the press since day one, and I think that will eventually result in major changes in both politics and journalism. By standing up to the traditional corrupt politicians and the press, he is getting his name out there in a big way, and the politicians and press are both terrified.

The status quo politicians are very likely to find themselves being voted out of their gravy train very soon, and more people every day don’t trust the press. Obama promised change. Trump is actually doing it.

I feel the same way as you do about that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and despise him.

President Bush viewed Katrina from Air Force One when he returned early from his working vacation in Crawfort.

According to that arrogant pos of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave's logic President Bush should have had his pilot land Air Force one while Hurricane Katrina was still in the area and visited New Orleans, Baton Rouge and other areas.

obama is in NO WAY a black American!!!!

His black father was a Kenyan. He played sperm donor in Hawaii, and soon departed for Harvard and for Kenya. He never stuck around to be a father to his son.

obama’s adoptive father was Lolo Soetoro, and Indonesian muslim. obama himself was raised in Indonesia, and registered as a muslim in that country’s school system. So he’s not much of an American.

Besides that, obama’s ultra-liberal “Christian” mentor, Rev. Wright, basically said that obamas is a muslim. Of course, if we on FR or elsewhere call obama a muslim, we get bashed as “truthers”or “islamophobes”!!!!

obama’s extreme disconnection from the USA, from the African-American community, and from the Christian Church, explains a lot!!!!

I’d like to know why we demand any president show up at every disaster to “show support” when there is golf to be played.

It wouldn’t have mattered what Bush did...

The whole media was out to malign every little thing he did or didn’t do.

Got so sick of it.

And now we have the deifying of our prez....

He can do No wrong in their adoring eyes.

Now this REALLY makes me sick!!!

You are right that Bush cut his vacation short, and looked the situation over from AF1, but I thought he had done the actual viewing tour from a helicopter...Yes I’ve seen the picture of him looking out a plane window, that one’s famous.

I know he did look the area over from AF1 while returning from vacation, without stopping, but going on to DC. Then the on the ground visit was a couple of days later. I’ve seen pictures suggesting he also toured the area from a helicopter, a search of “Bush views Katrina” turns up shots of helicopters with presidential logos over New Orleans. I may be wrong, but this suggests that he also did a helicopter flyover possibly during or before the on the ground visit.

OK found it, this article has a reference to Bush touring New Orleans by helicopter, with a picture, I also found another of him checking out Cameron, which was basically wiped out.

http://scienceprogress.org/2008/01/ubiquity-requires-redundancy/

No, I didn’t read the whole article...

And another photo montage of various shots during Katrina rescue, including one of Bush in a helicopter, and the statement that the air was cleared for his flyover. Not many people knew that. (I didn’t)

http://www.nerdylorrin.net/jerry/Katrina/KatrinaRooftopRescues.html

OK I was curious, hadn’t done a lot of specific searching, it never occurred to me that the common gripe was about Bush looking over New Orleans from AF1 on the way back to Washington, then I started seeing shots of a helicopter too...I was wondering what was going on. All the fuss about a plane viewing, and the actual aerial viewing tour looked like it was from a helicopter...OK both were true...

The reason why he didn’t land in New Orleans or Baton Rouge was that he didn’t want to take security off the situation and claim it for himself.

Yep, and the media of course blasted him for it, without mentioning the actual reason. Plus, he could do more to get relief efforts started from the White House than on the ground there.

That was why I mentioned it in my previous post, when he flies in, all aircraft are cleared from the area. That means rescues by helicopter have to stop too.

I’ll admit Obama had the same scenario to deal with, but a week playing golf makes his priorities highly suspect, he could have been there before Trump and not interfered with rescues. There are also other options. New Orleans is 45 minutes from Gonzales by car, an hour from Baton rouge, fly into New Orleans and drive up. Helicopters can keep on going uninterrupted.
