Why would Nasty Pervert Radio be frightened of public comments?

NPR and PBS both receive Federal Money, Huge grants from corporations and charitable funds, AND they beg for donations from private citizens.

And they have COMMERCIALS! Long, boring, annoying COMMERCIALS!

How do they get away with that?

No surprise. Brownshirts on the left are goosestepping right along. Anything contrary to the approved position is silenced and/or destroyed

Too many unhypnotized thinkers daring to post their unrequested viewpoints on NPR, thus ‘muddying the waters’.
It has been said that these posters don’t even believe in Manmade Global Warming!!//

I’ve been trying to talk sense into my elderly mom, who often donates to her local PBS affiliate, because they “provides so much educational programs.” And she is a conservative.

We had this happen with a local news station. Their libtards were getting hammered more and more so the station took down the comment section. The others went to comment sections limited to only stories they wanted comments on.

In other words, stories they wanted up to help shape liberal-bias public opinion, they want no opposition to. That might hurt their corrupt agenda. The news directors will swear up and down they are not biased and then they pull this crap.

I remember when C-Span used to take callers in the order they came in. When it became obvious that there were more conservative callers than liberal ones, they split the incoming line into one for the left and one for the right, and took calls from the alternatively, giving the appearance of equality in the viewpoint volume.

How do they get away with that?”

Asked my House Rep why they continued to send taxpayer $ to NPR and PBS when this came up before and he said he would look into it and get back to our Republican women’s organization. That was three years ago and still no response to frequent emails to him, calls to his office in DC and confrontations when he was in town for fundraisers.

When I received his last email request for a political contribution told him to contact PBS because that is where some of my money went. No response!

Remind me again why we have a Republican majority in the House and Senate.

NPR is what elites and elite posers listen to.
Some semi-low information voters consider NPR a religion.
The “quality” of their journalism has gone down dramatically, while their obvious bias is unlistenably high.

NPR closing their comments section comes as no surprise.
They never cared about what the common man had to say, especially if it challenged their DNC Hollyweird Gayhugg’in Manhattan-Cocktail-bubble script.

Wait n see, though.
NPR will become evermore powerful as a gov’t mouthpiece organ, once TPP and ICANN gov’t censorship kicks in.

Same privilege mindset as you would find in the historical state religions. Same thing that is, not so subtly, seen in that famous movie clip; “Badges, we don’t need no ... !” If I recall correctly (IIRC), the last serious effort to defund NPR/PBS/CPR was in the heady days of Gingrich’s 1994 revolution Congress, and it died because, in part, there were too many other more pressing needs (and there were!)

Now, because they are a bought and paid progressive mouthpiece, the Left will absolutely shut everything down before they lose their PRECIOUS! This is a ring that THEY OWN! The alphabets could, however unlikely, change their stripes, this precious gem of NPR/PBS/CPR will never betray or desert them.

National Public Radio ? Never heard anything about national aka USA on that station. Base / Bass is set so weird that it sounds like Charlie Browns mother giving him hell....waaa wa wa wa waaaaah wa waaaaaaa wah !

Very poor product .... I long for news, what, where, when type facts versus the bell curve educated bolshevik bullshitters opinions that doesn’t even past muster as bird cage liner.

Presstitutes need to get a grip on something other than their genitals . Media is a major FAIL world wide. Reporters should never be fabricators.

How about NPR fund their own damn selves or go out of the propaganda business altogether? This is one of the things that should be cut on day one of a Trump presidency.

Frightened? Probably not.

Tired of having to monitor the comments. Probably so.

Create a Wordpress account. Watch how quickly the spam bots find it and start posting:

1: Ads for online medicines.

2: Porn

3: Paid political spammers/trolls - usually ultra liberal

4: etc. etc. etc.

More media will probably follow their path.

Years ago, they did.

Now it’s recycled old British TV shows (after the Brits have moved on), BBC’s slant on the News, an occasional NOVA science program, and non-stop kiddie shows all day (most of them old and recycled too)

Once in a while “Live at the Met”, which I like as an Opera Fan, but that is about the size of it.

Anytime they have a Concert or special program that I might enjoy, they interrupt so many times for begging that I might as well watch broadcast TV.

I can never find a good documentary anymore on ANY of the Cable Channels. History Channel is all American Pickers or Aliens.

I liked the History channel better when you could watch a good Civil War or WW2 Documentary in Glorious Black and White! LOL! ((((At Least they don’t BEG)))

Progressives hate to be challenged.
Fail one time to accept every part of their narrative and they simply melt down.
Delicious.
