Hackers thought to be working for Russian intelligence have carried out a series of cyber breaches targeting reporters at the New York Times and other US news organizations, according to US officials briefed on the matter.

The intrusions, detected in recent months, are under investigation by the FBI and other US security agencies. Investigators so far believe that Russian intelligence is likely behind the attacks and that Russian hackers are targeting news organizations as part of a broader series of hacks that also have focused on Democratic Party organizations, the officials said.

Why would the Russians hack their communist allies?

Competition. Lack of trustworthiness. Less likely to recarve the world into spheres of influence.

Or it could be a hacker group posing as Russians, given the ease of spoofing IP addresses nowadays.

Hopefully the FBI will do the same thorough, rip roaring job they did on the Hildebeast’s emails and, in the end, absolve the Russians the way Comey did her.

WikiLeaks revealed last week that Hillary wears durable Adult Diapers. Since then, WikiLeak’s top London lawyer has been run over by a train. Coincidence? But now, will Trump use this info against Hillary in their debates? DEPENDS!!

One partial reason could be is that they’re worried by and about islamists. The NYT and democrat party are saturated with them. It seems to behoove Vald, from his own perspective, to want to keep an eye on them, both in foreign matters, and domestically.

Investigative Journalist Sharyl Attkisson has filed administrative claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act against the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Postal Service, and certain unnamed employees and/or agents of the federal government.

Attkisson has also filed a lawsuit in the District of Columbia alleging certain violations of her constitutional rights based on information implicating the federal government in illegal electronic monitoring and surveillance of her home and business computers and phones from 2011 to 2013.

As outlined in the claims, three separate computer forensics exams revealed that intruders used sophisticated, remote capabilities to monitor Attkisson’s work.

The intruders installed and periodically “refreshed” software used to exfiltrate data, obtain Attkisson’s passwords to various personal and work accounts, access the CBS News computer system, and monitor Attkisson’s audio using a Skype account. Forensics also revealed evidence of U.S. government-related involvement in the surveillance.

This has to scare the Obama administration, as the public already knows that they watched Fox News’ James Rosen. They justified their un-Constitutional activities with Rosen by naming him a “co-conspirator” and essentially treating him as a suspect in an investigation.

“under investigation by the FBI...”

You could drop an armed ISIS terrorist, holding a goat on a leash, into a room filled with nuns, and the FBI wouldn’t find the terrorist.

Never have Russian hackers been so safe...

They can't even find a problem with Hillary Clinton!

What have they done worse than what is on the record that she did?

Since when do the Russians need to hack the New York Times? They’ve had front-door access since Walter Duranty covered the Holodomor.

This from the same FBI and government that illegally “hacks” every single email, phone call and text message we send domestically and the same FBI that just went to court to make apple help them hack everyone’s phone?
