He is right about Trump's star appeal--and the degeneration of our culture.
But the "celebrification" of our politics began long before this election cycle. Remember "Camelot?" (I don't personllay--JFK died several months before my birth.) But the Clintons are a surreality TV show themselves. And Barack Obama has appeared dozens of times on entertainment shows. Finally, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were/are portrayed by our Enemedia as stars of a drama rather than conventional politicians.
And Hillary is not qualified--Mr. Liberal Smarty Pants overestimates her.
I do not own one, have not for too many years to count. Dead time, supplanted by You Tube—try to stay off that as well.

The “money line,” Hillary Clinton is $hit TV! Huffpo must be crapping themselves having to admit Trump’s going to win.
I hate to be cocky, but Trump has been beating Clinton in every directly observable metric since this thing began. I don’t expect that to change over the next 90 days or so. In fact, I expect him to crank up the steam roller.
Well, he’s right about one thing (and probably only one thing) - we don’t watch the PBS News Hour. The PBS News Hour is just another collection of self-important elites spouting the party line on the same load of failed policy approaches that put us in the current mess - and doing it on our dime. And to boot they’ve got the same attitude that the rest of the country is a bunch of ignorant boobs that this more-sophisticated-than-thou HP columnist reeks of.

I did exactly that in 2002 and haven't missed it a bit.
My theory (which matches up with this) is that Trump believes (and possibly rightly so) that 40% of the people will vote for the Democrat no matter what, and 40% will vote for the Republican no matter what.
And the other 20% don't care and will vote for whoever they “like” the best, whoever they think is the “coolest” or whoever entertains them the most.
Hillary is NOT likable.
Hillary is NOT cool.
and Hillary is BORING as hell.
If Trump is right... he will win in a landslide.
