I used to agree with that opinion, but once you start to learn more about suppressors, you see that a lot goes into producing them. To begin with, many are made of titanium, not inexpensive regardless of the product it is in.
One made of steel is just as good. And if they were available at every local mart, you would get a discount for the economy of scale.
