Not a fan. She and her husband built a “successful” business on ... Tax Return Preparation.
Michelle does not like the tax laws and talked about it - someone has to prepare taxes so her and her husband built a business around it. Good for them - certainly does not mean she likes the laws that require such services and she has said as much.
So how many “successful” businesses have you built?
Yeah, the idea of starting your own business is unAmerican.
A fair amount of people are tax preparers, I wish her the best if that's how she makes a living. What's the problem with that?
Hope you’re kidding!! Everyone has to file a tax return and MOST need help in doing so!!
This is an example of how the US economy has gone off the rails, just another example of rent-seekers doing well for themselves doing nothing of value.
They filled a need. What’s wrong with that?
Really? A tax return preparation service? Run by a conservative? How evil!! Unlike you, I did a tad bit of research, which isn’t all that hard using this, this “Internet” thing. Anyway in 1979 she earned a law degree specializing in tax law. She worked as an attorney for the IRS until she decided to become a full-time mom, after child #4 was born. (Dang, I can see the insipidness brewing here, ya-sure). Her husband, Marcus, is a therapist and runs a successful Christian counseling clinic. No mention of a tax prep service. Perhaps I’m using the wrong internet or something. Sorry but if the Bachmanns did run a tax prep service, I’d be one of their first, most regular clients because I’m sure, given Michele’s esteem for our bloated, over-spending, over-taxing government, she’d be hell bent in helping me deny the beast it’s food.
