A 35-year-old man accused of bludgeoning his foster grandparents to death last year in their Glendale home using an ax and a hammer was held to answer Tuesday to capital murder charges.
Investigators found two decomposing bodies under a blanket on a twin-sized bed in that room. They were later identified as William and Verna Scheiern, 77 and 82 years old, respectively.
On the floor a few feet away, police found a bloodied hammer. Against a wall in the living room, they found an ax, with dried blood on the head and handle.
During an interview with detectives at the Glendale police station that day, Nathaniel Scheiern confessed to killing his grandparents and trying to behead them after they'd attended an event at Calvary Bible Church, Glendale Police Det. Jeff Davis testified. The elderly couple frequented the church about twice a week.

If Mr. Schieran did molest his killer and was still molesting children, Islam was not the problem.
The way I see it is: G-d gave me my life and nobody but Him takes it and I will defend it against anything and anybody.
Now, I wouldn’t go too hard on little Nathaniel. It’s possible that no one ever told him that murder was wrong. If this is the case, then it is not Nathaniel who should be punished, but rather society in general. /sarc

I have a friend that lives in Glendale. Still lives in the house he grew up in since he inherited his families real estate holdings. The holdings are office buildings and house rentals. He says Glendale is full of Arminians. They call them Armos.

Is anyone surprised? Did this start with the Menendez brothers? Blame the victim and raise the specter of child abuse?? Victims cannot testify in their own defense, so isn’t this claim just so convenient. Makes me sick.
Remember folks, this guy was not a “radical Islamist”. There is no evil done by “radical Islamists”. Their only evil is that they “radicalize” rosy-cheeked innocents.

I did a quick read-through of Armenia. They have had a tumultuous history. They are smack in the middle of everyone else so it's amazing that they managed to keep their own identity.
Well, if they like Glendale, then good for them. I imagine they've gotten used to the smog. It's probably MUCH less than in Armenia.
