Yeah the trends from the daybreak poll from a week ago (before the diaper thing, the word out that a DNC guy was murdered, Dr. Drew telling everyone she’s very ill, Trump making that great Speech, Trump going to MO) to today have change yUGELY in Trump’s favor.

And you better believe the press has been in the business of public manipulation via misleading, for generations. I daresay the vast majority of people have actually bought the fiction that the press has a "correct" function or duty of being honest; that "an honest press is essential to self governance." Never has been so. What is essential for self governance is a body politic that applies critical thought.
