Yeah the trends from the daybreak poll from a week ago (before the diaper thing, the word out that a DNC guy was murdered, Dr. Drew telling everyone she’s very ill, Trump making that great Speech, Trump going to MO) to today have change yUGELY in Trump’s favor.

I’m not so sure that the MSM hasn’t pre-scripted a faux tightening of the polls to keep their ratings up and keep some interest in the race. I have pretty much tuned out the media once the rat convention ended and Hillary was ordained the winner. The deal breaker for me was not that the MSM and the DNC pronounced Clinton as our next president because I have grown accustomed to that. This time most of the republican party elites threw in the towel in August. Even the French Army put together a handful of battalions to construct some road bumps into Paris.

Today's front page hit piece printed in the local rag today bylined by AP Nancy Benac was titled Trump Lochte engage in the art of the apology. Underheadline, their attempts to atone fuzzy on what they're sorry for or if they really are.

This is on the front page, nothing more than an opinion piece about how they “crafted carefully worded contritions”.

IMO, this is the dog whistle of the day for what will be covered about Trump's rhetoric change, the change the press said he must do btw, to make it look phony. Not one article or mention in this one about the phony Clinton “misstatements” about e mail, he “apology” of sorts.

I hope when asked the trump interviewees make the comparison to Clinton and move the spotlight off Trump. His statements were rhetoric, hers were perjury. I frankly hate these people and would be happy to use Nancy and her cohorts as target holders for the crap they continue to spew out against one candidate. They must REALLY be worried about how they are having to drag the witch across the threshold of acceptance.

I don't think it's even that complicated.

Most are paying more attention to women's beach volleyball and will do so until Labor Day. I think the polls reflected the RNC bounce, the DNC bounce, and are now coming back to where they were before the two conventions. Khizr Khan was one explanation but how many would actually invite him over to their house for dinner?

The talking heads will explain this is a result of the campaign shakeup and the "kinder, gentler" Trump.

However, Trump should have a natural advantage in this election for a number of reasons, not the least of which are that he can walk for more than one block, and stand for 90 minutes without support.
