WHY? Because the majority of those flooded out are poor/working WHITE people. Just like Katrina- when only the black 9th ward was destroyed, not white Lakeview where there was 15ft of water in homes. A caller to local radio actually had the courage to say that-if there were black people on rooftops the national media would be everywhere-and so would Obama. That’s the truth. I personally don’t want a precedent set that dictates the president visit every major disaster. This disaster while causing pain to thousands of people is of no more importance than the pain of one family undergoing a disaster. Sheer numbers should not count. Why is their pain greater than my pain? The Philadelphia lady in a wheelchair killed by a hit and run driver yesterday is a disaster to her family, should Obama call her, should Trump call her?
Because your flood came at an inconvenient time, and few expect Mrs. Bill to take LA though the governor is strongly for her.
