They don't have to learn it when they first arrive. But they should want to learn it and become citizens.

My grandmothers never learned English despite being here since 1900.

Language is really a second generation thing. You come here and your kids go to school. My mother, born here in 1917, didn't know one word of English when she started school. My bro and myself both went to college and have degrees in Engineering.

What should NOT be happening is ballots printed in any language besides English. English is a mandate of becoming a citizen.

I’m not sure about the amendment thing. Wasn’t there term limits at one time? And why does the president have term limits and not Congress?

I think it’s a great idea. The problem as I see it is that the power of the Bureaucracy will grow even greater. There needs to be a type of ‘oversight’ on them.

With all due respect, what difference does it make? The Constitution has been ignored all my life. The tenth was ignored from its inception and quoting it does nothing to change what the Fed has done from the beginning.

We lost all opportunity to hold the government in check when Black's Law was abandoned and precedent was introduced as binding law. Amending the Constitution was supposed to be hard now any Federal Judge can do it with the approval of five black robed thugs, sometimes with out even asking them.

No, the problem is human nature and OPPORTUNITY fostered by an abstruse system that protects those it knows are corruptible.


You put up a fence, human nature will a find away around it. No matter how good your intentions are and how strong you build the fence. New laws aren’t going to solve it.

Our founding fathers understood this. thus the emphasis on Christianity and 2nd amendment and freedom of speech.

Term limits don’t change anything except the form and speed of the corruption.

I support cutting the federal workforce by 50%.

Hussein Obama has worked hard to fundamentally change America. By placing record numbers of people on government handouts, he has set the stage to take control away from the people and give it all to the government so meaningful change can take place.

By opening up the borders, Hussein has ensured that our welfare systems are overloaded but even then, hungry people getting their "stuff" from the government means the government is in control.

Letting in LARGE numbers of "refugees" does two major things. It even more overloads the welfare system but what it really does is allow the white American vote to be irrelevant.

In Detroit and Minneapolis, what Christians want is being buried and soon, those who resist will be buried by the NEW movement. As the Muslim population is increased, more and more of Sharia law can be introduced. Banning of alcohol will be one of the first steps. As more and more people resist, they can be removed from voting and even imprisioned to remove them from the voting population.

The transition to a Muslim country is well under way. It is futile to resist. Hussein Obama, America's FIRST Muslim President, has decreed this change. Get in line or be eliminated.

Hussein will soon control the local elections so it will be irrelevant who you vote for. It's no longer relevant what you want: I support cutting the federal workforce by 50%.

Government will not be term-limited, the executive branch won’t be limited, government bureaucracies and the lifers and ideologues within them will not be limited.

Back in Andrew Jackson's time, there was no "civil service" job protection. The incoming President had the power to fire all of them, and put in his own people.

Perhaps we should reduce the level at which government employees get civil service job protections.

Thank you. The problem is like a “root” in the system.... largely unseen but pervasive. Taking away the power from the bureaucracy would mean Congress voting on EVERY proposed rule, regulation, or regimen that an executive branch employee wants to impose on the citizenry. Accountability would then truly be with the elected officials.

FDA wants to ban the sale of e-cigarettes? Let Congress vote.

IRS wants to raise the standard for a “tax exempt” status? A decision for Congress.

That's my point - Congress is, at least, elected by the people. No one elects the millions of government employees, and their lobbyists, political ideologues and cronies within government. As you say - limit their tenures first.

I put in an earlier post - put every government department and agency on a 20 year automatic expiry. Congress can decide then whether to renew them or not.

So how do propose to "trim the hedges" unless you first remove their powerful guardians?

As long as we have a fiat, unbacked currency, and a Federal Reserve - it means government, can basically fund itself with printed money and massive debt - hunan nature is such that congressman will promise everything to everyone, as they do now.

Return to a truly free-market currency, and government would then have to literally compete with citizens for money and interest rates. Market discipline would force government to run balanced budgets, except in very extreme circumstances.

How long to you think it will take before they become corrupt. It doesn’t take long....................

My point to you is this is NOT a magic bullet. Just as guns are not the cause of crime, unlimited terms are not the cause of corruption.

There are better solutions given us by the founding fathers and we are not using them.

Trumps voice and massive coast to coast influence in the White house would come with a fully operational and equipped television station. No? He would have ready access to nationally televised daily White House briefing that can be broadcasted nationally to the American people. No?

Now ad in Trump having total access to the entire file cabinet, the data, intel, backgrounds, financials, donors, investigations and entire history on the D.C. disciples of deceit.☺
