Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) on Thursday dismissed recent questions about the health of Hillary Clinton and medical treatments the Democratic presidential nominee is receiving.
"I think we ought to recognize that's kind of junk medicine," Gingrich said on "Fox and Friends." "That's not the real deal."

He’s smart to say this.
(1) Prevents Hillary from using “he’s beating up on a sick lady” defense, and
(2) Allows Newt to act shocked and appalled when truth comes out.
I don’t think anyone should play the guessing game of a specific diagnosis, but there is clearly something wrong with Hillary. Nothing wrong with pointing out that there is much cause for concern about her physical and mental state.
She really should retire and go enjoy her grandchildren.
Newt is probably afraid that Hillary will drop out before the election and Trump will have to face a more qualified challenger.

What do you call having a seizure on camera? Wearing glasses that look like they could catch her eyes on fire if she looked at the sun? A doctor standing next to her with an auto-injector, having to have some on each arm to go up a front porch, and having to be propped up with pillows to stay upright? No, no nothing to see here.

Folks who wanted Newt as V.P., this is EXACTLY what I was talking about.
This follows the Kristol, Krauthammer, Will, et al mode of dissipating serious political issues against our enemies.
Folks wanting to know if Hillary’s medical issue is real, tune in and are assured by a “Conservative” (not really, but billed that way) that it isn’t.
Newt is just as bad as any of them, and he’s helping to seal the breach for the Clinton team.
Just when a story starts to gain traction, this absolute fool opens his yap and defeats our cause.
Thank heaven he wasn’t picked for the V.P. slot. He would have hurt us for years. He probably still will, as evidenced here.
The aspects about Hillary with which I am duly concerned do not involve her health unless they happen to be included in an obituary or some kind of eulogy. In NO WAY do I propose any ill will to her, but I would not miss a heartbeat if nature takes her course.

It's amazing how many people have become medical experts over the past few weeks.
By my count, there are at least 11,438 reasons to defeat Hillary. If she actually is sick & drops out at any point, it only means having to deal with Kaine, Biden, Sanders, or someone else just like Hillary.

I believe Newt was referring to the Natural Desicated Thyroid Cankles takes for her thyroid problems. Also NDT or Armour Thyroid.
And both Newt and Dr Drew are dead wrong about this. Many people do much better on NDT rather than Synthroid, but it’s this kind of patronizing opinion that keeps many people - especially women - from receiving a medication that would be much better for them.
They should both shut up about it.
To my knowledge, there hasn’t been a candidate that had some shill quack issue a blanket bill of health for a candidacy so early in a campaign. OF COURSE HER HEALTH IS A VALID issue. That’s because IMO, she’s definitely seriously debilitated.

Newt is a globalist who finds it convenient to not side with the Never Trump crowd. I think it is clear that he would be pleased to see Trump lose and is deluded enough to think that Trump supporters will migrate to him in the next election cycle.
This is a sports contest. Every edge you can get you work. Every football team looks for injuries on the other team. I feel she is trying to run the clock out. Call her out for being lazy and not fit. Work on her head. Newt maybe smart but I think he will eat his words. Her health is an issue.

Always assume such a ploy with the Clintons and use discretion in referring to whatever it is. There is an entire section of the Clinton playbook dedicated to playing the expectation game whether it's exceeding deliberately lowered expectations or appearing fine after deliberately hyped expectations of behavior or health. They have willing media sycophants who effectively spread whichever set of expectations they need.
There are 1000 ways that Newt could have answered this without making it a non issue. It is an issue!
Newt has always been on Newt's side.
