Hours after the Obama administration announced the president would not head to Louisiana to tour the devastation left behind by massive flooding, Donald Trump's campaign said late Thursday the GOP nominee will spend the following day visiting and helping the tens of thousands of victims.

Fox News political correspondent Carl Cameron confirmed Thursday from a Trump rally in Charlotte, N.C., that the billionaire businessman will head to the Pelican State Friday.

"I would like to take a moment to talk about the heart break and devastation in Louisiana, a state that is very, very special to me. We are one nation. When one state hurts, we all hurt. And we must all

“Obama? We know why - he’s not running again.”

That may be part of it. But the real reason, imo, is he just doesn’t give a rip about any of us decent folk.

So are all the pop stars gonna come out and do a televised concert for the people of Louisiana? No? Why?

It would be nice if Trump met with the Duck Dynasty people and they made a large donation, plus spearheaded some fund-raising. Perhaps they could match all donations, up to $2,000,000.00 or something like that.

All of the so-called pop stars are far too elitist for the Louisiana folk.

Great idea. Our family watches Duck Dynasty every week because it really is the only show that is decent, moral, and entertaining. Last Man Standing is good too...but that’s about all on TV. Even disney has gone waaaaaay down hill.

It might also force hillary to go. She won’t get the rest she needs.

When asked about her health, all she’ll do (or ever does) is to laugh.

The people suffering in Louisiana sure could benefit from a little help from The Clinton Foundation, couldn’t they? I’m sure that money will be coming any minute. < /s>

Forget the national ‘celebrities’. Where are the LOCAL football players-making millions to play a game? Each could kick in a million, write it off as charitable donation, and do a lot of good for the people who pay to go to those games. Hmmm? Saints- where are you??

Just checked the LSU fall schedule and orientation for various categories of students has been going on last week and this week. A 31,000 student campus and classes start Monday the 22nd.

Most students would normally be on campus at this point. Anyone heard any news about how the flood might have affected the LSU campus?

Not mentioned in the above-linked article (of course !) is the fact that Mr. Trump's visit to Louisiana will be a "no cameras" event as far as he can control it.

This pulls the rug out from CNN and PMSNBC who will have trouble spouting "Trump campaign photo op" all day today and tomorrow.

There were two basty nitches anchors on CNN this AM, one of whom was just vicious in trying to bait Simone Biles, the little Olympic gymnastics star, into saying something negative regarding the swimmers' flap...which she gracefully refused to do.

In the next interview, the anchor aggressively went to work on the FEMA director standing in front of flood waters in Louisiana (a decent man who's been working his fanny off night and day for the past week) to try to bait him into commenting on Trump's trip to the stricken area....which he gracefully refused to do.

Both interviews were very uncomfortable to watch. They were nothing more than disguised webs for their designated flies to walk into.

From personal observation these past months, the CNN anchors, regular commentators and guests with their ill-concealed hatreds and obsessions of everything good have progressively sunk to such a low level that they no longer can see the pond scum floating high above them.

Frankly, I’d be thinking that the flaming a$$hole “bailing Redcup” Sean Penn would be delighted to be deposed from the most ridiculous visage of this century.

Trump is a people person. He'll listen to heart and go there.

Obama is busy golfing. Hillary is resting for 4 days!!
