As Turkey "Considers Military Cooperation" With Russia, US Said To Move Nukes Out Of Turkey

Over the past month, ever since the "failed" Turkish coup, there has been a dramatic, and surprising, deterioration in the of Turkey with various European states, most notably Austria and Germany, as well as with the US, and NATO in general. This was confirmed once again earlier today when Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu lashed out at NATO, in an interview with Russian Sputnik, saying the alliance is not fully cooperating with Ankara. More importantly, he hinted that Turkey would consider military cooperation with Russia.

In the interview, Cavusoglu said that Ankara has become alarmed at the lack of willingness shown by NATO to cooperate with Turkey, which is a member of the alliance. "It seems to us that NATO members behave in an evasive fashion on issues such as the exchange of technology and joint investments. Turkey intends to develop its own defense industry and strengthen its defense system,” he said.

Turkey is unhappy with their NATO allies as the US finally starts to move their nukes.

This is a great time to kick Turkey out of NATO.

“This is a great time to kick Turkey out of NATO. “

Let’s wait until the nukes and the personnel are safely away. We may have to give up all the supplies, like spare engines. Also, we may lose quite a few airplanes. Not all planes are ready to fly and not all planes may have the range to get someplace safe. Also, how, exactly, do we get our fuel? Yes, we can air refuel, but all at once? This is just one of the problems caused by Obama not leaving troops in Iraq. Can’t wait for the History Channel special on that fiasco.

I’m surprised they aren’t being sent to Iran as part of the ransom payments.

NATO has become obsolete...maybe its time the United States left the security of Europe to the Europeans.

Why would this be in the news. Would a common sense approach be to just move them? Isn’t this classified information or has that notion been destroyed. Biden gave away the ID of the nuke code person the other day in public. Biden and Co. gave the information that sealed SEAL TEAM 6’s fate. What the hell is going on in the Defense Department and National Security?

“What the hell is going on in the Defense Department and National Security?”

I would hope GWB moved the nukes out. Maybe he did and Obama put them back. We have no way of knowing. It’s in the news because disaster sells Tide and Depends.

Security goes to hell every time we have a Democrat in office. Jimmy Carter told a story at a Washington dinner party that got Israel’s best spy in Libya killed. It was Gaddafi’s brother in law. He didn’t live until dawn. Carter also said how many nukes Israel had.

As Obama said, “There’s classified and then there’s classified.” I guarantee if you or I had done half of what Hillary did we would already be in prison.

None of this is the Defense Department’s fault. They can’t control who stupid voters elect.
