I don't have to. When the Episcopal Church and United Methodist Church came out against private prisons, I knew they were a good thing. UMC is on the wrong side of everything when it comes to social/political issues: Crime control, criminal justice reform, concealed carry, self defense, etc.
Contrarianism for its own sake can blow up in one’s face. Sometimes even the devil can want you to be blessed, if only to have the chance to misuse the blessing later.

Yeah actually you do need to do your research. Even a broken clock can be right. And privatized prisons has turned into a real mess. Having corporations that need people to go to jail funding politicians campaigns creates massive problems. Basically all the same government corruption we’re used to, only instead of “harmless” stuff like bad paint on the roads people are losing their freedom just to ensure profits.
I don’t disagree with everything you say, but as a white anglo saxon Methodist I feel more like a victim of the bigotted aetheist Commie elites who have infiltrated our government and have oddly been able to exclude us from the Supreme Court.
