It’s very easy to ‘escape’ from such an embrace, but it’s not a subtle gesture. Put your hands in a praying pose, quickly raise your hands straight up, then spread your arms apart as though making a Snow Angel. Only negative is you will draw attention to yourself and embarrass the hugger.
