Rescue is an act by the living for the living. No matter what the media, talk radio, and all the rest may say about Donald Trump, he is far from over. He does need help, consistency in prayer, locomotion and giving. Please get out there and do what is in your heart to do for him. Do it mightily with all your heart, with all your hands, with all you are able. I believe Heaven will take note.

oh, I meant no offense, honestly. As a member of a military family I pray this psalm quite often, and have started including Trump as I see him as a warrior of sorts, also. I have no illusions about Trump's sainthood ... :)

This thread is pretty close to blasphemy. Inserting the name of Donald Trump into scripture is pretty bad.

The Bible tells us not to put our faith in the arm of flesh.

Donald Trump may be a good candidate and God may use him to rescue us from our folly, but he is not God and is not our Savior.

There is nothing wrong with personalizing our Psalms. They are prayers and praise to our Lord from our heart, and He knows each of us by name. Thank you true believer, for including Trump!

I can't tell you how many military wives, families and friends, who say this Psalm multiple times each day, inserting the names of their loved ones and warriors. It is not an attempt to blaspheme, it is claiming the promises therein. And believing them. I believe Trump is a warrior and his cause of trying to save America is collegiate with our beloved soldiers fighting and praying for a CIC who gives a damn about them over there and here, once they get back.

Trump is a rough man. He is no priest. He is more warrior than diplomat. Trump does not suffer fools. He is a man of honesty if not humility. He is passionate about our country and its people.

The reason that the majority of us are voting for Trump is because he's like you and I...normal, speaks his piece, patriotic and believes in doing for all.

Revelation 22:18-19 provides a dire warning about changing anything in that ‘scroll’ and Galatians 1:6-9 warns of ‘preaching’ a false gospel. The sentiments expressed in these Scriptures should extend to all of the Bible.

As a relatively conservative Canadian Christian, I am not especially fond of DJT’s mostly secular views however, when compared to the vast blackness that is HRC, I am 100% in favour of DJT, fwiw. A friend at church is hoping for a Christian 3rd party President. That is a wonderful sentiment, though highly improbable. Yes, pray for DJT, but remember that we should pray for His Will to be done first and foremost.

It may be that His Will is for Christendom to suffer the blackness of an HRC, as a ‘chastisement’, in which case, we must persevere, much as I shall have to persevere under the yoke of Trudeau, here in Canada. In all things, cling to the Lord.

I didn’t either (mean offense). PawPaw Trump IS like a warrior, he takes endless abuse. If he had a weak persona that constantly second guessed and hand-wringed there’s no way he could survive the onslaught. Who is to say that outwardly coarse men are necessarily less spiritual?

The God who made lovely flowers also made nightmarish looking sea creatures. He knows the heart, and the end from the beginning.

I have thought and still am thinking about your words. I certainly don't want to offend anyone and most certainly don't want to blaspheme God Himself. As I said, as a member of a military family, I pray this psalm often for my many loved ones, family and friends, in danger. I never once thought of it as blasphemy but as hope in the Lord's protection. Also, to be honest, some of those I pray this psalm for are right up there on the DJT scale when it comes to secular views and actions. Again, every military person I know, and that's a lot of them, want and need Trump to be president. It has gotten very bad for them under Bama.

Oh, amen and amen and amen. I do believe that so. He knows the heart, the soul, the end from the beginning, and I believe delights in using those the so-called godly would overlook. Either way, I trust the Lord's will and that He alone will make sense of all this for all of us. And may He have mercy on us all.

It’s jarring to see Trump’s name in there, sorry. This is the Psalm Satan quoted—basely and misleadingly—to Jesus in the desert:
