Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell suggested Thursday that Republicans may lose their hold on the upper chamber of Congress in November, Politico reports.

Speaking to a civic group in Louisville, Kentucky, McConnell told his home state listeners "I may or may not be calling the shots next year," according to the Associated Press.

I’m not donating to the RNC this year because I’m afraid some money may end up going to Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan.

The Senate has been an issue since the 2014 elections.

This cycle, 2016 there are many more Republicans up for reelection than Dimbulbs.

Trump will have long coattails, I believe, and we will retain the Senate.

As for Turtleman - may he rot in Hell. The sooner the better.

What difference, at this point, does it make?

So if they do, that will mean that the DemocRATS will still be running the Senate, right?

As long as the rinos keep appeasing the democrat agenda, we shouldn’t be voting for them.

Give the dems the cover of “oh this bill has bi-partisan support”.

Better to have just dems pushing dem agenda so they can be blamed.

I agree. What difference did it make to own the House and Senate.

You know, we laughed at Debbie Wasserman-Schulz and Nancy Pelosi when they made outlandish predictions of Democrat victories.

From a party promotion/winning perspective, it beats the heck out of McConnell’s hand-wringing.

They must love having someone to blame for their losses. Fact is, Republicans turned off on these clowns long before Trump,.

What exactly did Mitch do the past couple of years....with the majority? Nothing? Bunch of whiny losers who can’t figure out what to do when they do have a majority. And half of the GOP senators really aren’t Republicans anyway.

If “THEY” lose the Senate, all that will be needed to understand “WHY” is to secure a mirror for each of the losers.
The GOP(e) is more afraid of their positions under a TRUMP presidency than they are under the “other” one.
The so-called establishment of the “former” GOP is going to get just what it is wishing for and what it deserves.
As usual, it is the gop VOTERS who will be screwed, again as normal.
