Multiple FBI investigations are underway involving potential corruption charges against the Clinton Foundation, according to a former senior law enforcement official.
The investigation centers on New York City, where the Clinton Foundation has its main offices, according to the former official who has direct knowledge of the activities.
Prosecutorial support will come from various U.S. Attorneys Offices — a major departure from other centralized FBI investigations.

Instead of reading an announcement that they plan to investigate, why don’t we see video of computers and file boxes being hauled out of the Clinton headquarters by US Marshals? (or whoever does that sort of thing) Yeah...sure...We’ll “investigate”.

I’m inclined to view this as chaff.
Didn’t we learn earlier this week that the higher-ups at the DOJ have quashed attempts by the FBI and lower-echelon U.S. attorneys to pursue investigations into the Clinton Foundation, saying, in effect, “We already looked at it in 2015”?
There were multiple threads on the subject.
Which leads me to take this story as a means to lull people into complacency, assuming “someone is looking into it, so we should wait and see what the findings are and stop agitating — we’ve gotten what we wanted.”

This guy took down Shelly Silver (D) the NYS Assembly speaker for 30 years, and the Senate Majority leader Dean Skelos (a Republican) and many others in Albany.
All of them should be scared, and that would include Chelsea and her husband.
No reasonble prosecutor would charge the Clintons.......
More Congressional hearings that will yield about as much of a result as the email and IRS hearings.
