Trump is right. First having an office in all fifty states is not nearly expensive as running television.

Second, some local parties may not be cooperative for providing for Trump supporters.

Third, Howard Dean, for all his flaws, was an effective DNC head, and he went for a fifty state strategy, which helped the Dems get Congress in 2006.

Fourth, a campaign office, like a rally is real and tangible, bridging the gap between media grabbing Trump and social media Trump. When he acknowledged he might not win today, that wasn’t setting himself up to lose, that was saying the truth instead of what politicians are “supposed” to say. When you set up a physical presence, you are running to represent the whole country, not just swing states.

Small investment, big return, like the rallies. Go Trump.

An RNC source said it was a ‘fool’s errand’ and more for Trump’s ‘ego’ and for ‘bragging’ purposes, instead of deft campaign strategy.

The RNC has been wrong so many times, maybe the RNC source should take a time out and think about his mission.

Maybe the RNC source should look into the strategy, logic and benefits of having offices in 50 states. Maybe the RNC source could ask a few questions before possibly drawing erroneous conclusions.

He is coming across like an inexperienced Ensign questioning the Admiral in charge.

Total agreement.

I happen to live in one of the "lost states". But, I would gladly volunteer time to keep a Trump office open in Southern Oregon. And I know there are hundreds more like me. Patriotic enough to want to save our country for our children and grandchildren. And, there are dozens like me in our little town.

Right here and now I challenge the RNC to call for volunteers.

Sort of a "modern militia" -- instead of mustering out with muskets and military gear, we would come with our own cell phones and laptops.

I dunno. You want to include hillary's psychotic state, drunken state, etc.?

Great pic. We need a graphics artist to make her eyes move around wildly every once in a while.

That is an excellent idea!

I wonder if election laws forbid the wearing of a uniform while working the polls ? Potential fraudsters might hesitate if the poll workers are all wearing their police uniforms and giving them the evil eye. Not to mention retired police are allowed to carry in most places, even CA.

I agree with Trump if for no other reason to pump up turn out and the popular vote for Trump, Gore won in 2000 by popular vote, but not by much. The other thing we need to do quickly is deal with these never trumpers. Sean Hannity kicked off a good effort today on his show, we have to let them know that we WILL NOT support an establshment RINO like we have in the past if they don’t straighten up and fly right in a big way and fast.

These Republican party heads are lazy, lack enthusiasm for our country. . .and frankly ought to be dismissed as in “not up for the job.” In our county, the Republican county chair did not bother to show up at the fair. . .when party workers were there to hand out information. No presence spoke volumes.

I agree with this. We need to stop this idea of running in a handful of states while letting blue states get bluer because no one feels like their vote even matters or is even needed.

This is very astute. The naysayers aren’t thinking beyond the ends of their noses.

Just for fun, try this on: these offices might be the start of a completely reorganized, populist gop. And the gop will be helping to pay for them.
