Trump Wants Campaign Offices In All 50 States
Political Wire ^ | August 12, 2016 | By Taegan Goddard

Donald Trump’s campaign has asked the RNC to open offices in all 50 states, a move one party aide said is a “complete waste of resources,” Playbook reports.

“For example, why boost resources in a state like Idaho, which is going to vote for Trump, or states like Hawaii or Massachusetts that certainly will not? An RNC source said it was a ‘fool’s errand’ and more for Trump’s ‘ego’ and for ‘bragging’ purposes, instead of deft campaign strategy. The source said it was a ‘personal request’ by Trump to have offices in all 50 states.”

Hi “neighbor”!

I live in the state to the north of you, another so called “lost” state. State Senator Benton is the head of the Trump campaign here and has been sending out messages and holding training in various places across the state. I haven’t been able to attend one yet, but plan to do so in the next few weeks. I heard that Trump is coming to WA state the end of Aug or 1st part of Sept.

If you or others haven’t seen this:

[I challenge the RNC to call for volunteers]

In my state the GOP Central Committee would prefer to have a ‘store front’ with signs in the window rather than accepting help from conservatives to man a real campaign office. (They were for Jeb Bush early on)

Thank you for the link.

I signed up to be an election observer, but I am not quite sure how that would work in Oregon. We vote 100% by absentee ballot.

The is good in some ways, because its is a paper ballot and can be recounted as many times as necessary. It is bad because there is not even an attempt at voter ID, and the opportunities to quite literally stuff the ballot box are many. They do not even require a thumbprint on the envelope.

“...etired law enforcement and military veteran volunteers to man the offices and/or polls!!...”

That’s actualy a brilliant idea, and you should send it to his campaign folks.

Could be because of insurance/liability issues due to vandalism.

In 2008 my local GOP office was vandalized.

In 2012 they were handing out phone lists for people to call from their home phones, not GOP HQ.

Do these offices handle fraudulent voting observations?

Don't know.

The phone activities I mentioned for 2008 and 2012 were GOTV only, not poll watching.
