Mika Worries More Hillary Emails Could Cause ‘Epic Implosion’ That Would ‘Bring Down Campaign’
Legal Insurrection ^ | Mark Finkelstein

A few days ago in our Quick Hits feature, this Insurrectionist wrote “the server is a Sword of Damocles over Hillary’s campaign. Whatever the polls may say, Clinton knows that she is just one disclosure away from disaster.” Has Mika Brzezinski heard the hair holding that Sword start to fray? Today’s Morning Joe reported on the disclosure that a senior Clinton Foundation official had contacted close Hillary advisers Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills to request, as something “very important,” that they set up a contact between a billionaire foreign Foundation donor and the US ambassador to Lebanon.

Reacting, Mika said “as a Clinton supporter, I think the bigger question is, what is going to come out? Could something big come out? Could we have implosion of epic proportions. Could you say that the candidate you support doesn’t have something lurking here that could bring down her campaign?”

Is this where Uncle “Shotgun Joe” Biden steps in to save the day, where his allround loveableness replaces Hillary’s dislikeability, and the Dems coast to easy victory in November?

Enquiring minds want to know!

;^)

Mika, you dummy. All you have to do is wave your hand and say “it’s no big deal,” and the issue goes away. There is nothing possible in any email release or other news that you cannot do that to.

The DNC is under no obligation to name Kaine as the nominee should Hillary drop out. I doubt they would pick Kaine.

I think the key point will be in debate #1, where Trump says something to the effect that he’s bringing in a special prosecutor on day one....to review all these emails and the Clinton Foundation.

Do it early in the first debate. Put her stress level on max early on and keep applying pressure. Let’s see if she has can handle 2 hours of stress.

I compare this whole email/server thing to a guy that has been surfing pr0n and communicating with his girlfriends on his computer, but trying to use simple “free” tools to delete his activity.

And one day his wife has his computer removed and gives to a forensic company to find out what’s on it. He’s saying “Hey, baby, there’s nothing there.” But then the forensics guys find something relatively innocuous, but something he thought he deleted.

So now he’s sweating.

As is Hillary, apparently.

Don’t worry Mika, the press is on your side. Unless there is a video of her murderiing someone, she will suffer no consequence.

Last week Michael Medved said the curious meme of this election is that of all democrats, Hillary is the one that would have the most difficult time beating Trump, and of all Republicans, Trump is the one that would have the most difficult time beating Hillary.

I don't believe this is correct. Throughout the entire campaign, poll after poll showed that Trump was the only GOP contender who stacked up well against Hillary Clinton.

Most of the GOP contenders would have put the U.S. voters to sleep by now if they had been nominated.

What Mika left unsaid is that similar emails about a Republican candidate would have already brought him down months ago.

Oh I think Trump can un-nerve her within the first 15 minutes of the debate. Even with three moderators trying to help her....Trump will be fixated to make her fall apart and start coughing.

If she launches into a five-minute cough session and they have to break for eight minutes to some national anthem video....she’s toast....finished. Maybe Trump should demand a back-up “Staying Alive Bee Gees” video in case of a coughing attack and they have to stall for time.

She isn’t worried or concerned about the character or illegal actions of Hillary, but rather she is petrified about whether Hillary has taken the correct steps to prevent her illegal actions from coming to light.

It seems to me that with technology there is no such thing as 100% absolutely safe, when it comes to what's on your computer. You can have your experts of today do everything in their power/understanding to ensure protection, but the fact is, there is always some new something-or-other coming out that immediately renders that expertise passe.

Of course, she's sweating. Everyone in the democrat party and in the media are sweating.

What Medved was pointing out is that both candidates have such a large number of people who loathe them. In an election where it is trump vs Hillary, a trump hater hates hillary so much that he can’t bring himself to vote for her either. But if the Democrat was someone with a lot less baggage than Hillary, just pick one that comes to mind, they would vote for that candidate, even if they were boring. It’s the ol’ lesser of two evils thing.

The reverse is also true. There are a lot of Democrats and independents that simply can’t cast a vote for Hillary, but they refuse to cast for trump as well. If the republican was pretty much any of the people Trump ran against in the primary, they may be willing to vote for them, even if they are “boring”.

This is a VERY unique election. It’s fascinating. It’s a bit of a Kobayashi Maru scenario for a lot of voters, regardless of which side they are on.

The “True Believers” for either candidate don’t get this. At least, most of them don’t.

I don’t believe more than 2% of all Democrats would ever cast their vote for someone like Jeb Bush ... and a lot of Republicans would be sitting this election out if he was nominated, too.
