A major knives manufacturer from central California says his company was denied access to an internet payment processing service because they sell weapons online, raising questions about whether an anti-fraud program called Operation Choke Point is continuing to block legal businesses in the firearms and weapons industries from accessing basic banking services.
“It was pretty simple and straightforward,” Aaron Hogue, co-owner of Hogue Inc., said of the situation he faced with Wells Fargo bank. “They called my controller, and said, ‘Sorry, but we’re not going to be able to process any credit card transactions for the sale of weapons online.’”
“And they specifically said because you guys sell knives,” he added.
Hogue Inc. is a family-run business that sells knives, tactical gear, and firearms accessories online. The company was founded in 1968 by Hogue’s father, and has since grown to 275 employees.
Wells Fargo, the bank that denied Hogue service, confirmed it doesn’t offer payment services to retailers that sell weapons online.

The way our Credit Money Banking system is Structured, if 10% of a Banks Account Holders CLOSED their account and withdrew All of it in CASH, NOT TRANSFERRED to Another Institution because that allows the Structure to absorb and shift assets and keep it hidden, that Financial Institution would be INSOLVENT INSTANTLY.
I think it’s time FreeRepublic Card Services stepped in.

I had an account with them in the early 80's....I soon learned they were crap to deal with..

I attended the Trump Rally in Wilmington, NC yesterday.Secret Service confiscated 600+ pocket knives and refused to return a single knife. That means about 1/4th of the men attending had their pocket knife stolen.
I lost a great 2-3/4” Buck pocket knife. It was my father in law’s. Really hated it when they refused to let me recover it.
I think they got off doing it.
Then they don’t like my 3 blade, 3’ folding buck knife either.
Got a Hogue grip on my S&W 629. Good product.
So I guess they’d turn Amazon down as a client.
I think Wells Fargo should be able to choose who they serve and who they don’t serve. Just like bakeries.

Yes, I traveled armed and did not give it a thought. I’ve had to produce a weapon 2 times in my life. Once in college, in my apartment. Later when 2 men in a car tried to run me off the road, 3rd time facing a 9mm auto they vanished. I know you must never produce a weapon unless you are prepared to use it, but I never had to fire.
