In a new economic blueprint that is set to unveil next week, Donald Trump will propose one of the biggest tax cuts since Ronald Reagan’s presidency, an advisor to the Republican Presidential nominee told Bloomberg.

The proposal will reiterate Trump’s plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15%, Stephen Moore, who is the chief economist for the Heritage Foundation, and of one of the men on Trump’s 13-member economic advisory team that the Republican presidential candidate announced Friday, said.

I’m certainly not the guy to ask when it comes to questions of the budget, deficit, trade imbalances, etc. But, I do know that we’re broke, it’s gotten worse under obama and will get even worse under Clinton. But, I’m hoping that there’s some magic in these policies, whether it be from trade deals, or bringing some of that off-shore cash back home, or who the hells knows what, that will make this all work.

Of course, if we were able to get a handle on social spending. especially the money that goes to refugees, illegals and their anchor babies, etc etc etc, I’m quite sure that those deficits would be much much lower, if not gone completely. It would be nice if there was someone, hopefully Trump, that gives a damn about all the waste, fraud and abuse that seems to be a permanent part of the social welfare world. And, if his military spending can be offset with all the wasteful spending that occurs with them every day, I’ve seen it first hand, then maybe there’s a way. Hope so.

If I remember correctly, he stated that he won’t be cutting those, but will work toward reigning in all the fraud, waste and abuse. Easy to say, obviously. Harder to do, obviously. However, if he follows thru on what got him to where he is, stemming and getting rid of the illegal immigrant tsunami, much of that spending will disappear.

“These tax cuts while terrific and classy, will enlarge the deficit enormously.”

Not if you also cut wasteful gov spending too.

A few thoughts.

1) Tax cuts work with you have a large private economy. 95% of our economy is government

2) The Reagan tax cuts are still in place for the most part.

3) The much bigger problem is govt regulation.

I think you could cut the expense of Medicare and Medicaid by cutting fraud and competitive pricing on equipment and medicines.

Sorry, you’re wrong. Our corporate tax rates are among the highest in the world, if not the highest. If we reduce, or dare I say, eliminate corporate taxes, companies will flock to the USA.

Amen Bro!

“How will he PAY for it!” By saying to a bunch of fed supposed-workers “you’re fired!”, then closing down/eliminating some of the alphabet agencies they worked for...

Reducing taxes is NOT a cost to government. It has been proven time and again that reducing taxes results in economic growth.

Thank for posting this reality. Our pearl clutching Freepers are sounding like they need estrogen and testosterone shots today.

Start running the country the day after the election. Tell one half the federal workforce that they will be laid off one year after the inauguration. If they quit before Dec 31 THIS YEAR they will receive 2 years pay(minus benefits). Watch the exodus.

Large companies want a high corporate income tax. It hits their smaller competitors hard. While it doesn”t really effect them as they expatriate profits to lower tax jurisdictions abroad.

You’re welcome.

We’re so inundated with bs from the dem controlled media, it’s almost impossible to not accept pieces of it.

“Tax cuts cause deficits” is a prime example of dem bs that’s infiltrated everywhere.
