NBC is delaying the opening telecast until prime time viewing -— so, in the good old USA, we don’t get to watch until a couple of hours from now.
And, the show will probably be edited — so we’ll get only the “high points”, plus a lot of unnecessary commentary...

I saw no threadBecause nobody cares.
I was just reading that Michael Phelps, who was chosen by his teammates to carry the U.S. flag in the opening ceremonies, was being pressured by the media to hand that honor over to an African-American Muslim fencer who has probably never won a medal - all to shame Trump. I'm sure that Valerie Jarret's fingerprints are on this one.
