House Speaker Paul Ryan is facing an increasingly-publicized primary challenge from Paul Nehlen in Tuesdays Wisconsin Republican primary.
The race has drawn intrigue from the national media due to a perceived competitiveness, with sites like Breitbart News saying that Ryan is getting nervous about the race.

That is a very real concern. Even if it is 50-50 in the Senate, Biden would be the tiebreaker.
Mississippi. Now that was a truly rigged election.
***Time to be presidential and show some polish.***
How is it presidential to support a traitor? What the hell kind of logic is that? Ryan supports the “Syrian” Sunni refugees coming here, the very thing Trump and most people with a functioning brain is against.
No way he should support Ryan!
Do you want to win this election? Let the voters of his district decide.
I suspect that they will..Wisconsin has an OPEN primary.
Trump will not lose a single voter by endorsing Ryan. But may get a bounce from his own Republican Rinos. Makes more sense tactically to endorse the little weasel
We all know that Trump will endorse Ryan only because politically he has to, not because he wants to. I’m sure Trump will be holding his nose while endorsing Ryan.
Yeeeesssssssss usssse feeeeel the daaark side......

I hope you're right, but the problem for a challenger to anyone in the Speaker position is that those that are uncommitted, or uninformed tend to go with the incumbent, because they think he will bring more to their district that a freshman nobody.
Trump is just playing with ryan because ryan waffled on endorsing Trump by saying he wasn’t there yet. Just giving ryan the same medicine.
It really would be great if the the democrat ryan lost.

Thanks.
You’re welcome. It wasn’t difficult.
Here is what keeps me awake during the middle of the night. It is not just Justice Scalia's seat that hangs in the balance.
If Trump is elected President and the Democrats retake the Senate, Justices Ginsburg and Breyer are likely to both immediately announce their retirement. This would allow Obama to nominate their replacements, which Senate Majority Leader Schumer would quickly push through the Senate on a party line vote.
That would result in an oligarchy of five young, far left-wing liberal Obama appointees ruling over the Supreme Court and every aspect of our lives for the next 30 years.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
And the Senate’s rules would eliminate the filibuster, of course. That is only in effect when Republicans like McConell are in charge.
The actual point I was trying to make was I don’t think he is 65 points ahead. Truth is, anything under 65% would be a lost for him. Anything over 65% for him, is a lost for us. It means conservatives are losing the battle of hearts and minds.
unfortunate. but ryan will win. that’s why trump endorsed him now.
it’s all over for nehlen.
***Do you want to win this election? Let the voters of his district decide.***
Oh whatever. That is such a tired argument. Paul Ryan’s decisions affect this ENTIRE COUNTRY. Don’t tell me I can’t comment my opinion of him. He’s a pos traitor!
I want him OUT!
So do I. But look at it this way. If he loses next Tuesday it is a win-win situation. Trump endorsed RINO traitor Renee Ellmers and she lost. Did not hurt him one bit. He needed to endorse Ryan so no one can point the finger at him.
When Harry Reid unilaterally eliminated filibusterers for all other presidential appointments, the ONLY reason that he left filibusters of Supreme Court appointments in place is because there were no Supreme Court vacancies at the time.
If the Democrats retake the Senate, Senate Majority Leader Chuckie Schumer’s first act on his first day in control will be to eliminate all filibusters of any of Obama’s nominees, from the Supreme Court down to the district courts and all of the federal agencies.
