Congress has everything the members need. A gym, showers, bathrooms, kitchen, barber/beauty salon. Heck if I was ever elected I could live out of my office easily. Get a roll away bed and bam! No sympathy here.

This story aside, the members of Congress who already are wealthy or represent districts in VA, MD, WV, PA, Del tend to have it a bit easier than members who can’t afford to maintain two residences or don’t have a short commute. That’s why some members are roommates with one another in multi-person dwellings or live out of their offices.
