As of this afternoon, NRO will be moving its comments section from Disqus to Facebook. If you have built up a set of conversations over the years, worry not: All comments on existing posts will remain intact and linked to Disqus. But in order to comment on new posts, youll need a Facebook account. If/once you have one, theres nothing special you need to do. Just navigate down to the comments section and log in. If you have any questions or technical difficulties, please do get in touch at webmaster@nationalreview.com.

Now they throw their lot in with a company that has been shown to censor conservative viewpoints.
At this point, they'll be able to measure Buckley spinning in his grave on the Richter scale.
I would never post a public comment under my real name facebook account.
There goes that comment section.
I refuse to get a Facebook account.
‘Bye.
I’m not donating my personal info to Markie’s for profit database.
Boston Globe did this too.
I think they got tired of all us conservatives pointing out things, like the facts, anonymously.
That’s stupid. They’re eliminating anyone who does not use facebook - which is a huge number of people.
Not that I needed another reason not to ever go there again, they gave me one anyway.
Off topic, but if you’re in need of some humor, visit

Needless to say, the majority of traffic there is NOT complimentary to crooked hillary.
NR got tired of being exposed as scum on their own site....now they are running over to FB to try & kill off free speech. They can rot.
Whew! I was just up all night worrying about my built-up sets of conversations and whether they might disappear.
Oh, wait. I wasn't.
I created a facebook account using a pseudonym.
Anyone know if people can still do this? I think I heard that facebook was asking people for ID now to set up accounts? Anybody know if that’s true?
No FakeBook for me, it’s not suitable for political discussion.
Maybe NRO can’t handle the heat they’re getting from us Disqus posters.
I am about to cancel mine.
Sign of a publication under siege in the comment section. They know that readers like privacy when commenting politically.
HotAir did the same when they went Never Trump to slow down on the thousands of negative comments. They now average about 10-100 comments per post. Used to be thousands.
Actually, I only have a fake FB page, I don’t use it that much but needed it to access certain sites for business.
I heard you can’t do a fake FB page anymore too, don’t know if it’s true. Would like to open another ‘different name’ fake FB page :>)
Hot Air lost over 90% of their commenters when they moved to Facebook comments.
Excellent...they are goi g to tie all of your once-anonymous and utterly frank comments on Disqus to your real name on FB. Great idea.
which will soon be deleted and all uses sent to Facebook prison.
I have a fake Facebook account just for such thing
If you can’t comment on line anonymously do not read the article.
I don’t care if they switch to no comments. The National Review is a disgrace - a bunch of arrogant, holier-than-thou ‘conservatives’ who would apparently prefer a devastating presidency of Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump. Such people are foolish non-conservatives in my view.
