The 2016 USC Dornsife / LA Times Presidential Election Poll represents a pioneering approach to tracking changes in Americans' opinions throughout a campaign for the White House. Around 3000 respondents in our representative panel are asked questions on a regular basis on what they care about most in the election, and on their attitudes toward their preferred candidates. The "Daybreak poll" is updated just after midnight every day of the week.

I think the Wikileaks about collusion at the DNC support a belief that Bernie never had a chance. He would have won if the Beast had not rigged the election with the help of the DNC. I don’t believe the numbers. Hillary is too evil to get that much support. What we are seeing is people not being focused yet. 30 days out from the election people start to focus and by then Trump will have his message down pat, and there may be more email leaks that will help him. Pray for America.

Trump is more of a threat than McCain or Romney ever was to the Uniparty. Mittens and McVain were one of their crowd so they knew their place in the game. Trump is not and is a direct threat to them.

but I can’t recall seeing the continuous assault of nonsense articles on a candidate coming out like they have with Trump.

the media didn’t have to focus on McCain, as he presented them with one of the slowest moving targets ever in Palin; and you’re minimizing Romney’s treatment; remember, he caused some woman to die of cancer, or at least he didn’t care upon hearing about it, and he had ‘binders’ full of women, which proved how much he hated females...

this election is 2008 all over, except with Palin at the top of the ticket; drooling hatred is on full diplay, because the Pub candidate is unusually feisty and irritating to the power structure, and because the Dem’s are running an ‘historical’ candidate, and we can’t have history being denied...but in the end, all the hatred and lousy press in the world doesn’t (legally) give anyone more than one vote to cast...

ILLINOIS

Another GOPe Rino, Never Trumper that went on CNN and confirmed that he will not support Donald Trump for POTUS.

Kinzinger is just another little weasel punk that has turned on those in Illinois that worked for and supported him, which put him in office.

CHICAGO (AP) _ Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger says he cannot support Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

During an appearance Wednesday on CNN, Kinzinger said he is unlikely to vote for Trump because the nominee was “beginning to cross a lot of red lines of the unforgivable in politics.”

Not for nothing, but we had no problem with this poll on the days it should Trump up over Hillary, especially when it was big. I’ll take this seriously but there are 3 months left and now both conventions are factored in and it’s essentially tied. Throw in Johnson and Greene and Trump is probably up 1-3 points.

And, Kilmeade is (very) questionable.

I think you mean Gutfeld...and, quite unfortunately, Dana Perino...I say unfortunately, becaue she is quite lovely, but she can’t go against her beloved Bushes...

On FR in 2012 we choose not to believe the polls - and look what happened. Its been a bad week for the Donald, its time to admit it.

you proved my point

except you used this ‘point’ regarding projection, which is what we all are doing, and all we can do at this point in time, to downgrade a poster’s comment because you didn’t like it...

Let's not forget Romney's binders with women, the dog on the car roof, killing of a cancer ill woman etc etc. However, the attacks against Trump are even weirder, more like the attacks against Sarah Palin.

Remember nuggets from “inside her campaign” like she didn't know Africa was a continent, that made it into the headlines. Same with Trump and “insiders” who are making hay with “he asked three times about the use of nuclear weapons”.

I think it is when politicians on the right side of the aisle are resonating with the middle class voters the “progressives” get mad with fear, and everything is allowed.

Trump is using the same strategy that he used in the primary, calling everybody names, the media ate it up,so he has continued it,he is learning the truth now about the media,he is running against a media that worships at the feet of the Clinton’s.
He better study up on the corruption of Hillary and her communist policies and pound it every day

“Trump publicly dangles participle.”

you forgot to mention that he does it on purpose, as well, for no other reason than to irritate defenseless female and minority English teachers...

Even seeing polls out today with Trump down double digits in places like New Hampshire, PA and Michigan!!
Plus that horrible Fox Poll from last night.
AFRAID OUR COUNTRY IS FOREVER LOST TO THE LIBERALS, SHARIA LAW AND ALL THE MYRIAD CORRUPTION!!!

They have to show some sort of bump for Hillary - not as big as the bump removed from her tongue though....

Notice anyone talking about her post-convention bounce? me neither.....

I'm a big believer in not peaking too early. The fact is Trump is ahead in the important battlegrounds or about in a dead heat. The debates are coming and the dismantling of Hillary by Trump is about to happen. He has the media's tin ear. The Dems have an old playbook and an old mindset.

Like the landlines in the early 2000's most folks are untethering from cable tv. I don't have TV, I have a Roku and Netflix and Showtime. But then again I read more. My point is cable is dying like landlines were. The internet has essentially made TV ala cart. I have not watched a CNN or MSNBC in about 3 years. I don't listen to journalists, they are not high intelligence people. When I was in college, the college of journalism was a place where by junior year the drunks, morons and marginally literate imbeciles needed to be to stay enrolled.
