Death penalty that doesn't take 30-40 years (or longer) to carry out. Only one inmate has been executed in Colorado since 1977.

Yeah, I know. Where I’m at, two thugs kidnapped, sodomized, raped and murdered a girl at random in the late 1980’s. They only bought it this year and last year I believe.

Death penalty that doesn't take 30-40 years (or longer) to carry out. The cased that always comes to my mind is that of spree killer Charles Starkweather. He committed the first of 11 murders on December 1, 1957, was captured January 30, 1958 and executed June 25, 1959. No "justice delayed is justice denied" concerns in that case.
