Donald Trump’s imbroglio with the parents of slain Army officer Humayun Khan is another example of his instincts gone awry. On the one hand he was correct to see the speech of Khan pere as a blatant Democrat ploy to attack Trump’s on Muslim immigration. However, Trump’s tendency to personalize everything and attack the Khans themselves was a mistake. Trump should have harnessed his instincts in order to make an effective attack on Hillary and the DNC rather than involving himself in a losing battle with the bereaved parents of a dead soldier.
Khizr Khan’s speech at the Democrat convention, while perhaps moving, was also shameless, in that he lent the sacrifice and heroism of his son to a highly partisan political party in the midst of a hotly contested election. The typical instinct of an ordinary Republican politician to such a brazen Democrat tactic would be to shrink away, in this case by either by ignoring the speech in hopes people forget, or legitimizing it hopes of appearing kinder and gentler. To Trump’s credit he did not do that, and his unconventional reaction to Democrat drama, whether in the form of convention speeches or hacked emails, is at least refreshing, and to his die hard supporters the essence of what they see in the man.

But what has happened is this. We now find out about Khan' past and past relationship and connection to Hillary and Saudi Arabia.

Khizr Khan not only needs to be deported from America, stripped of Citizenship, but immediately investigated for his ties to terrorism, along with his associates donating to the Clinton Foundation and bundling for Hillary 2016 by the FBI in a real James Comey investigation.
The Khan sons must be immediately restricted in access to ALL biological technology for the security of the United States, and their passports revoked.
This entire money trail must be tracked and everyone involved questioned and prosecuted to the absolute.
I would wager with that Trump policy, that Khizr Khan would be on the first jet out to seek asylum in Saudi Arabia before any legal papers were served, along with his Persian speaking wife and technology bearing children, as if they stayed, it is a probability that one of the extensions of the Wahabbists would silence them, in the same manner as the Shah of Iran’s family keeps ended up “silenced” by the Shia of Iran when they gain too much attention.

(This phrasing indicates the father possibly had some sort of intelligence role in the Iraq War.)
At the time, the Pentagon and CIA were trying to transfer security tasks to Iraqis and also were secretly establishing assassination teams, which eventually melded together as ISIS. If Khan Senior was involved in any of this, Virginia law enforcement had better keep an eye on his sanctuary city.
Prior to Iraq, Capt. Khan was based at Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany, with the Ist Infantry. So you understand this, Capt. I go back and forth on this. I don’t think I mind Trump fighting back hard on EVERYTHING. Otherwise he’ll have to “be polite” or ignore another stupid issue every week. Like Romney with the bullying charge, or dog, or ....
Hillary is going to have a harder time getting someone to go public with a story about something they “sort of remember” or to embellish their anti-Trump story. And if a story is made up or embellished the media is not going to want to carry it for a few days and have Trump be the one to uncover the truth - they’ll still hype everything anti-Trump they can but they’ll at least make some attempt to verify because they know Trump won’t let it go and will dig up dirt.
